It's part of a brewery tour dammit. There's the other two as well. Hawg, I am ready for anything kesha is bringing. I've begun a no-drinking policy until San Diego to clear my liver of all toxins. The liver is going to be FRESH Typical amateur move really. Have to keep your liver in PEAK form. Can't be half assing it by not drinking. As a man well versed in this art, I can only recommend you change course and have at least 1 if not 6 beers every day until said trip. Otherwise after day one you are toast. |

Leaving tomorrow and no itinerary from kesh. LAZY Places you will be going. Pizza port ocean beach. Start off there for amazing pizza for lunch.. And get lubed up on their beer. Then just bar hop ocean beach. My old apt was 1 block south of the main strip in on. Now it's 330 or so and you are feeling great....cab it up to mission beach and bar hop the coast north. I would say drink a sixer on the beach but that may no longer be legal. You will eventually get to pacific beach where you can look at ass and drink even more at the bars or clubs if you want to get your groove on. Hamiltons in north or south park...I forget. Do that after your brew tour. You will feel like a beer expert after the tour and Hamiltonian has the best of the best taps and usually cool theme nights or special events. I hated downtown but reference the coast thread for my bar lists. Nine of those existed when I lived there. There is a cool old village in old town good Mexican food and I think a bar that serves legit real glass yards. |

Do not under any circumstance end up in Mexico. It will sound like a great idea when you are wasted at 3 in the afternoon but you must resist the urge.
Also look and see if soma has any good shows. They were a good spot for punk rock at a slightly bigger than club venue.
Enjoy a California burrito at any of the local taco shops.

friday looks to be OB/MB day and then beer tour in the evening. probably hit up bars in PB after the tour. i think we'll do PB day drinking saturday and go to sunset cliffs to check out the.....sunset. probably drink in pb that night too.
when i visited in '08 they didn't allow alcohol on the beach. shoot, they gave a homeless dude a ticket for drinking on the boardwalk.
