Legit forgot that Raw was on. Turned over right as Owens & Cena were in the ring talking. It's now Neville vs Owens for the NXT title on Raw. Which is awesome.
With the Hawks game about to start, aside from intermissions, this is the only match I'll watch until I watch on DVr.
Cena is rambling on commentary, it's odd.
Anyways, here's the thread. Will post Raw thoughts & bitch about it later.

Ziggler, Reigns & Kane are out talking about MITB, Truth comes out & Kane asks him what he's doing, he's not in the match. All Truth does is go "I'm not? That's my bad, have a good night everyone!" and leaves!

I feel like they go into the writers meeting knowing that one hour of programming will be dedicated to meaningless Big Show and Kane matches and then the authority will talk about whats best for bussiness to fill out the remainder of that hour.

oh shit, earpiece is out, Mercury means business! J&J vs Rollins for the main event that will no doubt end in shenanigans, but still, pretty entertaining segment between the champ & stooges.

I decided to turn to Raw for last 5 minutes after Hawks game. Seth Rollins getting beat up by J&J security. You know, the two guys who job to everyone in the company...BUT THE FUCKING CHAMPION!?!?!? The fuck guys...

If you turned over & just saw the match without the build throughout the show, I completely understand. But Steph & Trips told Rollins if he thinks he can do it on his own, fine, then do it. Rollins berated J&J until they actually had a very entertaining back & forth backstage where J&J stood up to Rollins. Rollins saying he picks them as his opponents tonight, slapping Noble, Noble slapping Rollins & Mercury stepping in telling Rollins they're going to kick his ass. Right as the main event was about to start Rollins walked up to Steph & Trips who said "well, what do you want us to do?"
With Ambrose running distraction, I actually liked the finish too. It shows that Rollins truly does need backup to win all his matches. Everyone realized it but him, tonight was his realization.
That being said, I missed Ziggler/Kane, Kofi/Reigns, Sheamus/Orton, Big E/Titus & Tits/Summer. Aside from a possible perverted comment about Lana, bitching about how dumb Sheamus and directionless Randy is, praising how awesome New Day is & drooling over Summer's hotness. I honestly got nothing else.

I agree Rollins has been built as incredibly weak, but I think that's the point, as unfortunate as it is for someone with his talent. He was relying on backup ever since his heel turn, so this isn't anything new. I do however think he should get TV wins without as much help as he did. PPV wins with help from people I understand, he's a coward & very good coward. But it gets completely repetitive when he's a coward on Raw & on Smackdown & on PPVs. It's too much.
Also MITB is Neville (too new, won't win), Kofi (will get his 1 spot), Ziggler (sadly won't get a main event push anytime soon), Sheamus (better off in upper mid card, no need to be in the main event), Orton (another MITB means nothing), Kane (fuckin really?) & that leaves Reigns, who I don't think will win, I think he'll get screwed & Brock returns and gets the briefcase.

I didn't give this a fair shot last night. Plus I was dead tired. But I thought the opening segment with Owens and Cena was top notch. I guess I just like the program overall. (As long as it doesn't end badly) But I love the chemistry with these two. Owens is a perfect foil to SuperCena. I love how confident and cocky he is and just repeatedly tells Cena he's delusional and just laughs at his over the top-ness. God it's great.
I think it's also important to point out just how over Cena was putting Owens while on commentary. "Greatness", "Unbelievably skilled" etc....
JBL could take some notes instead of calling people goats and trolls and farm animals and all that other lame shit that he always says.
Plus the Owens/Neville match was fantastic. That was a damn fine opening sequence.
