So this TNA stuff got me thinking (and you know how scary that is). But yeah, I mean TNA was pretty much the lone/last holdout as far as talent exchanging went. I think they may have some relationship with AAA or Noah or both or neither, but that's about it I believe.
Meanwhile, GFW has talent exchanges with like 20 promotions, including NJPW, ROH, AAA, about 17 others, and now apparently TNA.
ROH has agreements with GFW, NJPW, some Lucha, and probably others that I'm unaware of.
NJPW has plenty of agreements and seem more open to the talent exchange ideas than nearly anyone.
And they're all starting to intertwine. So I'm proposing like the SuperBowl of all feds not named WWE. And I'm calling it WrestleWorld™. Like a once a year deal. Probably need an entire weekend. 3 shows, Fri, Sat & Sun.
This could/would include everybody that's anybody. I'm not too familiar, if at all, with all those other promotions like PWG, AAA, Noah, Dragon Gate, of course Lucha, Evolve, etc.... etc.... but if someone from those promotions was worthy of making one of the Fri, Sat, Sun cards - then they're in.
Book it! (Or at least try to book the biggest day which of course would be Day 3 on a Sunday. And culminating more than likely with the NJPW Heavyweight Title.)

And while I'm at it, Destination America should go all in and become Destination Wrestling. Aren't they owned by Discovery? That channel could easily become a higher tiered channel made available to an even larger percentage of the population. Discovery probably has like 30 channels, the rest of the DA stuff could just get shifted somewhere.

They could snatch up Lucha (Who I don't think signed on yet for a second season).
They could get the NJPW stuff from AXS. Hell, just flat out work out an agreement to show they're weekly, monthly stuff.
Have podcasts like Jim Ross, or Taz, or whoever else wants to do one. Show things like Jim Ross's stand up deal. etc...
Maybe you have a show for Keller, a show for Meltzer, the Law guys, Sam Roberts.....
And then just fill the rest of the 86 hours with Dalton Castle.

I legit read this thread wrong & took it as a create your own network & come up with shows. Here I am thinking of shows that would air daily like....
The 6 Hour Bucks Block (6 hours of Young Bucks matches)
The Ballsplex Bonanza (The Best of Candice LeRae)
Cole Train (Adam Cole at his finest)
The Wrassle Castle (10 hours of Dalton Castle matches & also commentary by him on other peoples matches)
Then I reread the thread. I'm all for booking a 3 day fantasy show. Just give me time to think it over.

Until this past year, I did a Be The Booker on another board for like 3 years, writing out shows & everything. Had a sick roster I drafted & everything. No one could have the same person on their roster, which made it more difficult.

Alright I'm going all in on this, the show(s) I'll make will include ROH, PWG, TNA, Lucha Underground & NJPW. That's a ton of talent & the promotions I'm the most familiar with. This will take me a few days.
I'm also not doing a point system or anything. If I choose to use just 5 members of the TNA roster while using 20 of PWG, that's how it'll be. |
