Chosen Bros retain after an assisted Bro To Sleep. Said to be a great match, which isn't surprising at all.
Ricochet defends the PWG World Title against CHUCK TAYLOR in a Guerrilla Warfare Match up next!

Chuck yelled "have fun at 205 Live, you piece of shit!" at Ricochet, haha
Pretty sure Rollins is there watching behind the curtain too

Chuckie T wins back the title!! Ricochet missed a 630 senton ONTO THUMBTACKS followed by an Awful Waffle onto the tacks for the win. Chuck is now a 2 time PWG World Champ!
Chuck put over Ricochet (who he trained) with thumbtacks still stuck in his bloody back.
Ricochet cried & then said farewell as the locker room emptied. WWE bound. Good for him, hope they use him as a main card talent & don't stick him in 205 Live.
Put him on Smackdown & let him be a US Title contender. Don't have him be Random Guy #12 on 205 Live or don't give him Tye Dillinger babyface/enhancement role. Ricochet is one of the best in the world, utilize him!

Next show is Neon Knights on February 16th.
PWG Title Chuck Taylor vs Trent? (Best Friends collide!!)
Keith Lee vs Matthew Riddle
Dalton Castle vs Joey Janela
Flip Gordon vs Zack Sabre Jr
David Starr vs Travis Banks
Adam Brooks vs Matt Sydal
I know less matches means each one gets more time, but I miss the non-BOLA PWG shows that had like 8-9 shows on them.

Chuck retained the PWG title tonight beating Trent? with a low blow. He pretty much turned heel afterwards and all the fans were booing & sad.
PWG title turns everyone who holds it evil. I love heel Chuck, but he's like the biggest babyface in PWG, so I'm not sure if I like it or not.
Also Keith Lee chopped Matt Riddle so hard he made his chest bleed.

Just realized I originally posted this in the NJPW thread like a moron. This is better. PWG moved away from Reseda for the first time in years last night (due to a problem with Paypal for tickets, they oversold, so they had to go to a new venue). This looks so much better than the American Legion.
Joey Janela over Rey Horus with a package piledriver
Brody King beat Eli Everfly, Douglas James & Jake Atlas (these are 4 guys from the Santino Bros school. Atlas apparently dislocated his hip)
Jonah Rock beat Jeff Cobb with a frog splash
Zachary Wentz & Dezmond Xavier beat Bandido & Flamita
Will Ospreay beat Adam Brooks
Zack Sabre Jr beat Matthew Riddle
Keith Lee beat Chuck Taylor to WIN the PWG Title (at one point Chuck yelled at the fans "you guys know he's going to NXT soon & you still cheer him??")
I wish both Keith & Chuckie T were going to NXT. I know Chuck says he's going, but you learn on Twitter never to believe him. He's busted his ass for years & deserves a shot, but he's been solid in New Japan recently.

PWG is officially leaving Reseda & expanding to a larger building!
"The final three shows at the American Legion Hall will take place on April 20th/21st, and May 25th!"
While I'll miss the atmosphere of Reseda, I'm happy they're finally moving to somewhere bigger.

Never thought they'd leave but the building they ran last time looked so much better.

Yeah I thought Super Dragon was so set on staying in Reseda, but even he couldn't deny how better it looked at the other building.
This also lets them make more money too.
I know they'd never do iPPV since a lot of the guys they used are contracted to other companies. I sort of like the DVD route. I just wait until November and buy 10 DVDs each year.

I guess the American Legion was sold recently and is going to be knocked down, so it makes sense why they tried Globe Theater and why they're moving.

All Star Weekend was the past two days. Most notable things to happen were WALTER beat Keith Lee and Jonah Rock to win the PWG Title. Also Zachary Wentz and Desmond Xavier won the PWG Tag Titles vs Cobb & Riddle and The Young Bucks.
Also the deal either fell through or isn't complete yet so they could still run shows there as long as a deal wasn't made to knock it down.

They're starting to announce the entrants for this year's Battle of Los Angeles. The first entrant....
PCO!!!
Yeah, that's former WWF Tag Champ Pierre of the Quebecers. He's been having a serious career resurgence lately. Good for him.

Brody King is the second entrant
Jody Fleisch is the third (which is awesome since he's one of the first guys who made me a fan of independent wrestling growing up)
wXw wrestler Ilja Dragunov is the fourth entrant

Matthew Riddle is the 11th entrant Darby Allin is the 12th entrant
Hope at some point we get Darby vs Janela.
Riddle certainly is a front runner so far out of the 12 announced. 1/2 the field left to go.

They just announced the remaining 12 entrants in this year's BOLA
-Adam Brooks -Flamita -Jonah Rock -DJ Z -Timothy Thatcher -T-Hawk -CIMA -Jeff Cobb -Travis Banks -Bandido -WALTER -Shingo Takagi
That's a loaded field. CIMA won the 2006 BOLA and he's back. Shingo in it is pretty crazy too.

That's incredibly true. WWE has signed a LOT of the big names from PWG. So many of these recent shows are filled with brand new guys. They're sort of forced to rebuild, which is a good thing because BOLA will make new stars and bring eyes to the unknown guys.
Some names I'm surprised aren't in it are Sammy Guevara (who they've been pushing as a upper level heel) and some TNA guys. I can't remember but does the new TNA allow guys to work for other companies? If so, why wouldn't you have Trevor Lee, Andrew Everett, etc?

I think TNA has been letting guys work wherever they want. Maybe PWG is trying to find new stars like you said.

Yeah it's smart in their part. You make new stars now, you have them longer before WWE swoops in.
I just looked at the 2014 BOLA tournament and WWE has/had 16 out of the 24 signed to either the main roster or NXT. (Cole, reDragon, Candice, Gargano, Ciampa, Gulak, Busick, Hero, Styles, Hawkins, Ricochet, Roddy, Cedric, TJP, then used to have Swann)
You add in people like Keith Lee, Aleister Black, Drew McIntyre, Pete Dunne, Flash Morgan Webster, Dijak
WWE has loaded up big time. I'm sure they'll sign some others sooner than later. Matt Riddle would be the smartest signing talent & potential wise.

Trevor Lee replaces Matthew Riddle in BOLA
Pretty much guaranteed Bro has or will sign with NXT. Good for him & Trevor is a great replacement, someone I was surprised wasn't in this to begin with if you think of his BOLA track record.

According to Dave he had offers from NJPW and WWE and chose WWE. I'm really upset with the booking on RAW so I hope he just stays in NXT.

BOLA is this weekend. Here's the cards for the three nights.
Night One Adam Brooks vs Rey Horus Flamita vs Puma King David Starr vs Joey Janela Bandido vs T-Hawk CIMA vs Jody Fleisch Brody King vs PCO Ilja Dragunov & Shingo vs WALTER & Timothy Thatcher
Night Two Marko Stunt vs Trevor Lee Robbie Eagles vs DJ Z Darby Allin vs Jeff Cobb Ilja Dragunov vs Shingo Sammy Guevara vs Jonah Rock WALTER vs Timothy Thatcher Bandido, Flamita & Rey Horus vs CIMA, Dezmond Xavier, Zachary Wentz
Night Three PWG Tag Titles Pentagon & Rey Fenix vs Dezmond Xavier & Zachary Wentz Quarters, Semis, Finals of BOLA
I think Brody King, Jeff Cobb or WALTER takes it. Joey Janela could be the wild card in this too having been fresh off All In.
