Agreed. I too think this is the peak for the NFL. There's story after story out there about parents not letting their kids play football anymore. Then you have people like Borland leaving the league on their own accord. The talent pool is thinning at a rather rapid pace. MLB and the NBA will reap the benefits.

I will not be watching this, as way to much of this pisses me off. What part(s) are you pissed about? The whole concussion thing and how it has affected football. Amazing in talking to people how naive they are about things. I love the game of football and feel there is a strong part of society that wants it to go away, I don't like those people. And fuck Chris Borland!!

What part(s) are you pissed about? The whole concussion thing and how it has affected football. The introduction of valuable medical research that is making people rethink playing?Amazing in talking to people how naive they are about things. Who are they and what are they naive about?I love the game of football and feel there is a strong part of society that wants it to go away, I don't like those people. I love football as well. I don't love the NFL. Who are the people that want it to go away? And fuck Chris Borland!! Because he gave up his football career to make sure he could take advantage of his other skills?

There has been a lot of advancement in both the equipment and how players are handled. Also as far as how practices are structured and how much contact that can be had. Football doesn't even lead in the percentages of concussions amongst sports, as soccer does. Where is all of the hand ringing to get little Billy protected on the soccer pitch?

There's definitely advancement in the way players are handled. But that progressed quickly because of research. There's a solid argument to be made that advancement in equipment is actually worse for the brain. I'm not interested in going back to leather helmets, but it would lead to fewer big hits and repeated striking. Soccer has a problem as well. It also doesn't have close to the visibility of american football in the US, so it doesn't receive the focus. However, soccer doesn't have repeated contact issues. It's headers and collisions.

Concussions Consmussions. It's the Toradol.
I think there might be something to the repeated hits that aren't considered concussions too. They are doing some really interesting research now with force plate type devices implanted in the helmets that will allow contact to be evaluated at all times. I don't know what they will find but it could be very interesting.
I'm also not watching this movie.......but its because of the Sun. How do we know if it really exists. Has anyone been there and touched it? I love the Fresh Prince but fuck will smith and fuck his family. I don't want to see anything associated with those self important assclowns.

Toradol is filed under my hatred of the NFL. It's become a hatred, which also makes me a hypocrite. I've luckily, and purposely, avoided all of the Smith Family beliefs on everything.

One side either is resistant, or resents change. Usually the other side of change is a self-righteous asshole that needed something new to be upset about that day. There's all sorts of important shit in the middle.

I really wish someone would do a documentary on Toradol. Those comments Urlacher I believe it was made were very intriguing. If they really shot guys up with that like it was their daily multivitamin then we could see some serious side effects show their head soon. Its also very interesting how some teams philosophically refuse to use the stuff. For teams to take that kind of a stance on something that is widely used is very powerful.
