I did. He is also on again RIGHT NOW with the Unit.
He sounds very well coached in the response department. Its hard to evaluate him based on these introduction interviews but I like what I hear. He is on board with a long term rebuild but while not throwing away the present. He sounds alot like Theo.
The last fresh GM I heard interviewed was Pace of the Bears and Stearns sounds like a 25 year veteran of the game compared to Pace.
He sounds like he is just going to feel everyone out and will then will begin structuring his organization accordingly. That is pretty much what Theo did. The difference is that the cupboard isn't bare here. He has a solid prospect base and some young cost controlled talent in the big leagues. Based on his philosophy and experience with rebuilding and the Crew's assets I would look at a 3 year plan to compete. Bad in 2016, .500 in 2017 and ready to rock n roll in 2018.

The cardinals never go away. The cubs are just getting started. The pirates window will start to close. Walker is on his way out, Cutch is breaking down more and more, Alvarez has fallen way off, cole is going to want 25 mil per year. The Reds...who knows.

He actually said Davis is just a guy. He doesn't pass the eye test. The unit was mainly going after his biased fan club that has put him in the hall and have him as the team MVP.

The best part of the show is when they started talking about transgender people....for no reason.....and then Radio Joe plays the song Buffalo Bill dances to in Silence of the Lambs. He played the whole damn song as background music for the discussion and Bill didn't even know what the hell it was. Go Joe!!!

I still think that because of his salary and fit at the DH position he will be able to get them a decent prospect. He is going to start costing money at some point as he is not that young for his mlb service time.
