Not sure where to post this, but they live streamed Lemmy's funeral with a ton of friends, musicians, family, talking about Lemmy. Triple H was there & this was his speech. It's pretty damn great.
They should put Lemmy in the Hall of Fame for wrestling this year. At least it'd be a respected name & not someone silly like Donald fucking Trump.

Well Jim Ross tells me that this isn't Taker's last match so I'm not sure. (Unless he's changed his tune lately as I haven't listened to his podcast recently)

I have no idea what JR said, as I gave up on his podcast a long time ago, but what does Taker have left to prove? He honestly should've packed it in years ago, but in his hometown, it doesn't get more fitting.
He needs to go out on a loss though, granted a loss to Cena wouldn't really have put over a new star, but maybe with the injury you can have someone new be MADE from a match. Owens would be fantastic, I don't think they'd go with Wyatt, since they used that angle to get Survivor Series over. Sheamus & all his lackeys need to stay out of it.
Really only leaves Owens. Maybe you have Ambrose? Who knows.

Takers streak shouldn't have been broken. IMO the way to send him out was always this : Taker goes into Mania as champ. He never lost at Mania and this is his retirement match. He fights Cena, who beats Taker thus ending the Streak. He also becomes the 16 time World champ, and in doing so he turns heel. Takers streak ending to a heel Cena, who just tied Flairs record. The internet would implode.
My guess this year is Rock vs Taker. Still trying to figure out who fights Brock though

Just read Nakamura was stripped of the Intercontinental title and Kenny Omega will face someone (wasn't named) for the vacant title at the February show.
Looks like Nakamura could be coming sooner than later like many expected.
I know there's a strong chance they might drop the ball, but I desperately want something new in the WWE & I'm thrilled this could be it. I'll buy the merch, I'll do whatever, I just can't wait for the dude to show up.

Yeah he was only gonna finish up January and then come over.
Not sure why they wouldn't have him drop the belt to Omega at one of the Fantasticamania shows.
I know it's not as high profile as the New Beginnings shows, but at least then Omega gets the rub by pinning the champ.

You know who I'd like to see on commentary for Raw? Well i guess my new dream team would be:
Mauro Ranallo
Paul Heyman
Renee Young
But we all know Cole isn't going anywhere for one thing. Heyman would be soooo good for the overall product and I just feel he's so wasted by only showing up when Brock is around which is only like 1/5 of the year if that.
Renee is fresh and seems to be liked by all. Male and female alike.
But if nothing else I'd like to see either Titus Young, Big Show or maybe even the Miz replace someone or both of the other two. (JBL/Byron)

Y'all seen this Daniel Bryan being released next week rumor? I read the supposed letter from some cat that says he/she works in WWE HR. I find it hard to believe they wouldn't keep him around in some capacity as sort of an ambassador for the company. I would also think that Brie would go with him if this turns out being true.
Anyway, probably bs but just something to talk about it.
