WWE confirmed Cesaro's injury.
He'll be out 4 to 6 months.

I just can't believe both he and Rollins will be out for the next approximately 6 months. They are half the damn reason I even watch these days. If something happens to Owens and Big E I would probably have to stop watching altogether.

Did he do this in a match or during one of his epic power lifting workouts?

Supposedly in the match with Reigns last Monday.

That's why the match with Miz on Smackdown was like 40 seconds. He didn't do any power moves. He put on a submission & that was it.
Rollins - out 6-9 months Cesaro - out 4-6 months Orton - out 4-6 months (if he gets surgery) Bryan - who knows when he'll be back Rusev - out I have no idea how much longer Cena - gone til probably next year due to shooting his show Brock - only has certain dates Undertaker & Kane - Old
That's a kick in the pills to your roster.
Reigns, Ambrose, Owens, Sheamus & Del Rio are the ones to carry your roster. 2 out of 5 ain't bad? Yeesh.

This shortage can easily be covered up. They can develop a decent storyline around Reigns chasing the corporation. If they want to build him, completely separate him from Ambrose. Hunter can form the Dungeon of Corporate Doom for Reigns to mow through on his way to Sheamus. The Rumble sells itself. It could also be perfect, as he could bring in "hired hit" guys for the Rumble to eliminate Reigns.
Meanwhile, develop a completely different deal for Ambrose. Make him the other featured guy on every show the way they built Stone Cold. Give him another wacky deal every week where he's messing with a different superstar. Almost build him from the beginning.
They could coast with those two things until Mania season really starts. At that point, you're filling up the shows with the Mania build. Don't get me wrong, this won't happen. Ambrose will continue to be Reigns' little buddy. But splitting the two would make them both bigger, and give the show two unique face builds.

I really like the idea of having a little mini faction around Sheamus. If only Barrett/Sheamus weren't complete jokes, I wouldn't mind Barrett being Sheamus' top lackey. Dress them in suits & be corporate. Get rid of the beard/dreads & just have a regular creepy looking goatee.
New Day would be fantastic cronies.
I want Ambrose/Owens separate in a feud. Del Rio could feud with Torito for all I care.
My question, where does Wyatt go now? Who do they feud with? Who's left? All champs are heels. Ambrose, Ryback & Reigns they've already feuded with this year. Dudleys? Who aren't even in the Top 4 tag teams on their roster?

Keep in mind, this will be rather temporary. They won't go to Mania with Sheamus. They might not leave the next PPV with Sheamus as champion. New Day would be outstanding, but they need to do their own thing. They would take all of the heat off the champion, since he basically has no heat. But it wouldn't elevate any of them to champion level. The Wyatts probably show up and act like nothing happened. I could see a Dudley feud. Whatever they do, it will probably be temporary as well. As much as we bitch about their booking, they will probably still have enough for a major Mania feud.

Agree, keep New Day separate, but have them as side members, if that makes sense. Not official, but henchman when needed. Lord knows we're in for about 19 different (actually the same) 8 man tag main events on TV for the next few months.
Yeah, there's no way in hell Sheamus makes it to Mania with the title. There's a chance he doesn't make it to the new year. Rumble is the most likely Reigns wins though.

As noted, WWE Diva Lana currently has backstage heat in WWE for a number of reasons, one of them being her recent internet spat with Paige, which was not something that was a planned storyline.
According to this morning’s edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Lana has “nuclear heat” backstage in WWE right now, as there’s a feeling she’s the one who leaked the news of her real-life engagement to Rusev. Officials are also not pleased with some of the recent, cryptic comments Lana has made on social media.

It's unfathomable to me that they'd have to hide their engagement. Maybe WWE shouldn't have come up with that dumbass storyline in the first place.

It seems like Lana's social media is a mix between her character & her actual self. As is the case with a majority of the roster. If WWE wants their talent to stick to kayfabe, then they should have stricter guidelines to how their talents use Twitter/Facebook/Instagram etc. She shouldn't be listed as CJ Perry on Instagram, another example is Summer Rae is listed as Danielle Moinet.
While she shouldn't have posted pics of a ring, engagement or whatever, when you're posting as a character & a real life person, these things are bound to happen. She was in a feud with the guy she got engaged to, so she needs to be smarter than that. I'm happy for them don't get me wrong, Rusev is a lucky bastard, but I don't think she should've posted it.
Then with the stuff accusing Paige of bullying. It almost seems as if she's trying to get heat, which she is succeeding at. Maybe she wants to act more & this is a way out? I hope not, she's a great character. If she actually wrestles, she'll get lost in the pack. If she sticks to being a great valet/manager, then she'll be fine.

She should've been smarter about the Paige stuff. Lana can't be all that bright if she thought Paige went into business for herself with that horrible line. On the other hand maybe Lana is actually brilliant as she pretty much single handedly put an end to that gosh awful storyline with her, RuRu, Summer and Dolph. I really do kind of think that Vince was trying to break them up in real life. And I think Lana felt the exact same way.

Vince would've done that regardless. Never stopped him before. Of course I'm referring to his on air character, in no way would Vincent Kennedy McMahon cheat on Linda.
It did seem weird, we hear Lana was in store for a big push & immediately they break them up on screen, put them both with others & have them make out with other people. Very creepy.
I love Lana more if she did this all intentionally. It did end the dumb feud. She's a leggy genius!

Not to mention they put her with Ziggler who has a rather notorious real life playboy image if I'm not mistaken.

Solomon Crowe asked for & received his release yesterday.
They did absolutely nothing with him aside from a few promos & a few matches. I know he was hurt for a while, but I saw promos from their promo class of him as the hacker gimmick, but they changed it up too much. I think a lot of it had to do with the Sony hack. They didn't want to have a heel, dark, hacker character.
Sami Callihan more than likely will be returning to PWG, hopefully.

Whoops.

Andrew Goldstein @angegold 1m1 minute ago W/in 3 mos on the job I'd get that #RAW rating back in the 4.0's w 3 moves: Give Owens the ball, Kurt Angle one more run, Cena returns heel.

2 out of the 3 are dumb.
Angle has no more runs in him, and turning Cena at this point won't do anything.

2 out of the 3 are dumb. Angle has no more runs in him, and turning Cena at this point won't do anything. What if we start a Right to Censor 2.0? They can have a gimmick where they make hilarious jokes about anyone that doesn't believe the same way or look like them. Geographic issues could lead to character development. But they're ultimately right. Just can't or won't explain it. This has mad heel heat written all over it.

Are we in store for another Stairs match this year? Because that went off so well last time.

Are we in store for another Stairs match this year? Because that went off so well last time. It will be Sheamus v Big Show after Reigns is screwed out of his title shot. DAMMIT, SHEAMUS NEEDS TO LOOK STRONG. HE'S NOT BELIEVABLE AND NOBODY WILL CARE WHEN ROMAN BEATS HIM!

The thing that pisses me off the most is WWE's lack of following their own storylines. Reigns had something going where he gets so close but never wins. So on Sunday he wins then Sheamus cashes in, and we're suppose to feel bad for Roman?
There is a huge list of wrestlers from every era who have never won that title. Reigns didn't fail, he won, and gets a rematch. He could retire right now and say he won the World title in WWE. Something Razor, Jake the Snake, Jerry Lawler ect have never done. Yet all we see is Reigns crying and we're suppose to feel sorry for him?
No.
