Don't you just wish that's what was opening Raw?
But alas it is not. Instead, the opening segment will be devoted to the bestowing of the recently minted Vincent J. McMahon Legacy of Excellence Award ... obviously going to H3 (or Gillberg, I'm not quite sure).
Which I'm sure will dovetail nicely into his opponent at WM, Roman Reigns, who will be headlining his second WM in a row, and I'm sure to the same ovations he got the last time (because that all worked out so well). I mean, how retarded is it that the office is STILL pushing him as this underachieving underdog with a record like this: Roman Reigns @ The Internet Wrestling Database. Let me know how often he's put anyone over clean with a pin, then get back to explaining the underdog gimmick to me.
Speaking of drizzling shits booking, while last night's interactions between Ambrose and Brock (two more WM opponents) were entertaining within the confines of that one match, I can't understand how they're going to intelligently (key word) promote a match between a guy who, kayfabe or otherwise, is clearly and irrefutably outmatched by his opponent. I suppose maybe this will be the beginning of an Undertaker-type role for Brock at WM (which I'm okay with) ... if nothing else, it offers the potential for six weeks' worth of Dean vs. Paul on the stick, which I'm sure we're all okay with.
Oh, what else ... a bad rumor about Cena vs. Undertaker at WM ... the New Day will come out and do their thing (it's going to start wearing thin sooner than later, even with the trombone) - maybe it'll have a resurgence when they bring the Bullet Club out the Monday night after WM (again, don't you just wish?) ... another joke segment with Golddust and R-Truth (probably good for a laugh or two) ... I reckon the International House of Midcarders will appear at some point ... The Godfather going into the HoF (really? was Charles really that great of a hand in the ring that I'm not aware of?) ... bad announcing, mistimed pyro, Kevin Owens throwing shit and shade at Cole, Divas segments that will be given too much (read: any) time ... a regular old Monday night in February on tap for idiots like us who know better but watch like good little marks anyway. Oh goody.
