Raw 3/28: Go Home Raw. You're Drunk

Owens has bailed on everyone up to this point. It was bound to catch up with him. So he got his in the end of the match. I understand the finish, commentary sucked majorly during the match. The much itself was slow & pretty much a handicap match, which didn't help the situation, but again, I get it. Crowd just didn't want it.

They came around at the end with Zayn & Owens, but there was really nothing to keep them interested in a pretty long match.

Battle Royal I guess is now on the main card with the 10 Dame match & heatless tag match being the pre-show. Probably for the best.

Eva fucking Marie though. Brutal, just brutal.

I would be completely fine with it.  The reason it couldn't happen, in my mind, is the Mania brand.  They get cities bidding for the rights, and people flying to Dallas for a light show.  Mania ends with happy.  But again, I'd be fine with it.  

I don't see where it's the crowd's job to behave properly or otherwise put over shit booking.  I mean, that's like pro wrestling Kenny Williams thinking, fella.

Oh good, ANOTHER Authority promo ... that's three tonight?

Owens retains at Mania.  

People love the NXT booking.  That crowd is celebrated for being great, but they want to be the show.  They hijack shows.  It gets to a point where it's not protest, it's people needing, wanting, and finding a way to get attention.  

Be that as it may, I've never seen five minutes of any episode of NXT so that's got no effect on me.

The only thing that might've saved the go-home WM Raw would've been to end with a live shot of Kevin Dunn's head being removed by a fully-restored Guillotine.

They made it a point to say this was the main event too, that makes me worried. The fuck do they expect to happen if Reigns wins the title & nothing else happens?

Even Shane winning right before him won't soften the blow of Reigns as champ.

Which again, if that happens in that order, from a logical standpoint, it makes no sense.

Then again logic & WWE booking went out the window a LONG time ago.

They must figure on Shane either helping (ye gods) Reigns win, or having Shane come out to raise his hand as his new champion, or have Shane come out and do a Yokozuna/Hogan like thing and send Brock out there to destroy him for the belt or maybe by then I'll have hung myself and it won't matter.

I made it through most if it unscathed.  As an almost 38-year-old that's been provided the opportunity to restart life, many things kicked in.  I'm legit worried about Danielson.  He reminds me of someone. He's making sure everyone else is OK, and saying all of the right things.  Incredibly self-aware and realizes other people have much bigger issues.  

But guys like him have an ego.  It's what drives them to get to that point.  Along with everything else that's happened, it will take a while to find a true replacement.  Brie could be the greatest, hottest, most understanding wife in the world.  But there's still a loss.  It sounds like they will be a baby factory, so hopefully being a dad will fill that void.  He doesn't seem like the type of guy that will force his kids into shit either, so getting through this rough patch could lead to an incredibly happy existence.  

I'm a little worried about what Shane might do in that cell.

I hate when they do the contrived spots like filling up the ring to simulate what the battle royal will look like.


At least make that shit a bit believable and show Vince or somebody back stage yelling at the talent to get out there and fight for what is theirs. Or some shit like that.

The Authority is just too much. It's gone on and on and on and on and it's basically the same thing over and over and over except that you just insert a different wrestler every 6 months for them to go up against.
It doesn't even matter anymore whether or not Steph and Trips are good on the mic or good at what they do because we've seen it time and time again.
I can't take it anymore.
