True, that wasnt the first time they havent done anything after the final match.
This Breaking Ground Reloaded special has been phenomenal.

Finally watched the show.
The tag match was great and I liked seeing the Revival win. They're perfect as the top team in NXT.
Nakamura-Aries also outstanding. Both guys should be main roster bound.
I enjoyed the Nia Jax-Asuka match for what it was. Nia looked much improved and is a credible monster. Right person won too.
I do like The Perfect 10 gimmick but didn't really care about the former La Sombra in this match.
Main Event was a fitting end to the feud. I too expected more after the match, but that's okay.

Just watched myself. Great wrestling show. I really do think when the old man croaks we got a shot at H running the E properly. They can get rid of Kevin Dunn and do this right.
It's also fun to see the TNA guys I really enjoyed like Joe and Aries not be in ridiculous storylines. I still feel like Bobby Roode is more E material on day 1. Interested to see how it plays out with him.
As randomone told me, this show does deliver on what I'm looking for out of a wrestling show.

The more I watch NXT on a weekly basis, the more I realize the style could be THE show at a national level. It doesn't get enough credit for having Vince and Dunn's view of wrestling. Which isn't always a horrible thing, even though it's rightfully shit on. They focus on stars, even if it's over the top. But the character development, booking, and logic is something we aren't used to. The Undertaker could still be huge with this format, but someone like Austin could still become Stone Cold. It's not just for internet wanks.

I think a big part of it is that we aren't oversaturated with the product on a weekly basis. Main roster has 5 hours (more if you count Main Event/Superstars) of TV each week. With NXT, it's an hour, so we don't have the same shit over & over (thought in some cases, that might not be such a bad thing). So their feuds actually mean something when they come to a head on a Takeover or a special. They allow feuds to breathe & the quality of the matches makes it that much better.
Also helps there isn't 87 camera cuts for a 10 second clip either (fuck off Kevin Dunn). I still have a headache from AJ Styles turning on John Cena. Holy smokes the amount of camera cuts is Guinness Book of Records worthy.
