Just a couple things to think about when you consider the creative opportunity with a "draft" scenario.

1st draft results from 2002. I wish that show was more about the draft than Flair vs McMahon, but it was still a pretty cool show. Hopefully tonight they learned from their mistakes & not make this about Shane vs Steph. Which, who am I kidding, they can't help themselves, of course it'll be.
Whoever gets drafted to RAW will be immediately slapped in the face & emasculated by Steph. That's my prediction.

There's not a world Vince will ever live in where the draft will be the star. Stars are stars, and his children are stars. Even in 2002. Could you imagine selling Vince that the draft will be like the NFL? JR is Berman, the show sells itself every year. He probably would have fired the writer.

Why would they have a decisive winner tonight? Why would you make one of these two look weak heading into the PPV?
Ambrose wins, he goes into a PPV having already beaten Rollins & then there's Reigns, who hasn't been able to be a part of any of this build aside from being mentioned how he fucked up.
If anything, having these two fight for the title TWICE 6 days before the title match takes away from the PPV main event.

From Wrestling Observer Radio (I know this doesn't cover much, but still, a few rather interesting names mentioned)...
•Meltzer did state that Balor and American Alpha will be included in the draft tonight, as 2 of the 6 draftees.
•Alvarez commented that 2 of the names that could be included in the draft would be shocking. Meltzer has admitted that MOJO RAWLEY & ELIAS SAMSON are possibilities.
•Bayley is a possibility.
•Samoa Joe not in the draft tonight.

Just turned on the pre-show. Lita looks incredible. Renee looks great, but that's a no brainer. Anyway, they have a camera at the Performance Center with everyone in NXT there, I really like that.
Corey Graves (who I think will be drafted to Smackdown) mentioned that people who might not have even debuted in NXT yet could be drafted.
I don't see that happening, but I like they mentioned that though. Makes people even more curious as to who in NXT could be picked.

Age considerations with Cena. Some say he isn't as dedicated to wrestling as before. PED concerns from Brock could have an impact.

BALOR TO RAW! Happy he's going to Raw, but bummed we don't get AJ vs Balor.
Balor is just drafted to Raw, he's not debuting, so he could wait a bit before he debuts. Surprise element could still happen eventually.
So this means the women's division is exclusive to Raw?
