Dual Citizenship I've always been a female who's preferred to hang with guys. Not because I like the attention (that's very rarely the goal,) but because women can be so catty, bitchy, and just basic drama queens. Then the past week happened. Are you "men" kidding me? What the hell is wrong with you people? Yes, there was an original board, yes, we are all grateful for it and its founder, yes, people wanted another place to talk - for whatever each person's reasons were. So another board was started. Does anyone care why the first/other board was started? No. Does it matter if people post in both places? As long as you adhere to the policies of each respective board, no. Should grown ass men be acting like teenage girls because their old buddies decided to continue the game when they left? Hell no. Pull yourselves together and look at yourselves for a minute. If you wanna post here, do it. There is no need for copying their threads here, or reading every post there, just to cry about it here. This is childish and ridiculous. Those of us that came here from there, whether permanently or with dual citizenship, came not only out of curiosity, but because we wanted something different. SO BE DIFFERENT! You are allowed to get along with different groups of people. Trying to play to both sides is petty and pointless. Contribute whatever it is you contribute on the other board and contribute your own points here. I think we can all handle getting along with our neighbors on both sides of the street. There is no need for calling out family members, be it jokingly or otherwise. Unless they are posting here (Lil Hawger) they have no business being used here. Both boards can be fun, both can even be great, but neither will be anything if we can't all get past the initial chaos. We don't all have to hold hands and smile at each other, but good God, let it go and move on. ...like for tomorrow, when IMU will say something dumb and we'll all have to take turns putting him in his place

I have no problem with what you said. The way it was done was dirty. That really can't be denied. If it was really as open and carefree as you suggest, there wouldn't be any need for all the "Don't tell CSFMB and don't tell these specific guys" posts that we have all seen by now. Shoulda just created it and let whoever come come.

Everything is what it is. I'll check out both boards but the way it all transpired was strange.

I'm not mad, but I never saw my name as one being specifically excluded.
RPB has every right to be pissed and I'm surprised cookie doesn't get it if even 1% of her post was directed at him.
Not letting Curious Hair over was a really dumb decision too, just from a practical standpoint. Like an NBA team telling LeBron this summer "no, our team is set, sorry"

I don't remember seeing that CH wasn't welcome - he has some of the best hockey thoughts around.

I absolutely understand what his issues were with what happened. This was in general, from what I saw, as a whole, and overall, from both boards.

There were a lot of things said in the early stages that were most regretful. Part of making mistakes is learning from them, and trying to do a better job the next time. Curious Hair could sign up right this instant and would be immediately approved. As would everyone else.

I would like to personally apologize to him, and everybody else offended over the past several days. I'm sorry.

I much prefer the alleged new direction being taken that are diametrically opposed to the the 10-year-olds-in-a-treehouse beginnings.
