What bridge hasn't he burned yet aside from TNA? I definitely don't want to see him in ROH. Lucha he had a falling out with. Not sure his relationship with AAA. He's too old to fight MMA again. What else can he do? CMLL with trips to Japan. Maybe work NOAH. |

Former ROH & EVOLVE commentator Mister Saint Laurent discussed the relationship between Alberto Del Rio and Paige during his latest podcast with Kevin Sullivan. Here is what he said:
“Mark Carano, who fans might know from Total Divas, kind of like the office liaison guy, approached Del Rio and Paige individually and harassed each of them about their relationship. It was indicated that the office wanted them to sever their romantic relationship.”
He also added the following:
“A lot of people speculated if this was the reason [WWE] split them up in the draft and that’s definitely what happened. The company did not want them together. They split them up in the draft by design and they threatened to fire Paige if she didn’t break up with Del Rio.”

Not sure on the validity of this but it sure wouldn't surprise me.
CM Punk and Colt Cabana’s 15+ year friendship is apparently over, according to MMA insider Front Row Brian. Brian, who is usually spot on with his news and has tons of contacts in MMA and pro wrestling, noted on twitter that Colt Cabana and Punk no longer follow each other on twitter and that Punk went nuts after he learned that Cabana attended a Monday Night Raw show and went backstage. Apparently, Cabana took photos and Punk was not happy about that and Punk apparently believes that Cabana being backstage at Raw hurts his defense against WWE physician Dr. Chris Amann.
Punk and Cabana were sued last year by Amann after Punk went on Cabana’s podcast and ripped on WWE and Amann for the way WWE handled his injuries while he was still working for them. The case is ongoing and the last we heard was that there was a trial call date set for May 21, 2018, so it will be a long time before this case is settled.
Punk and Cabana’s friendship dates back to the late 1990s when they first broke into the business in the Chicago area. Hornswoggle recently noted in a shoot interview with Kayfabe Commentaries that his 10+ year friendship with Punk ended after Punk got upset when Swoggle asked Punk for a phone number of a mutual friend. Swoggle said that Punk took that as him using his friendship to get a phone number out of him and that was the end of the friendship.

Gallows story I definitely believe. You think an old man would remember a failed gimmick from 2008? I definitely think they only signed Gallows/Anderson because of the buzz they were getting in Japan and they signed New Japan guys in bulk last year. Good for Gallows for reinventing himself. Even if they are "testicle doctors" now.
Should Cabana have been backstage at a WWE show? Probably not, especially with the court stuff going on, but I don't think that's grounds to end your friendship with someone you've been friends with dating back til when, 99-2000?
It's weird, I really want to like Punk, but how he cuts ties with people seems incredibly petty. Then again it's just one side of the story, so who knows?

Also in regards to Paige/Del Rio, it seemed like WWE didn't want him "corrupting" her, but he did. On one side she should be able to date whoever, but on another, if you know he's trouble & will only lead to her getting in trouble (which, 30 day suspension, apparently it did), then I'm sort of on WWE's side.
Her calling him Papi on social media is creepy as shit though.

If I had an employee like Paige, and an employee like Del Rio, I would be worried very worried. But in this world, you have to be careful. I hate the passive aggressive approach, but I would have used the draft and hope he fucks her over. Let it work itself out. Pair her with girls on the road that would be there for the inevitable.

No idea where to put this, but WWEShop has this Mystery Shirt thing for 5 random shirts for $25. The first two boxes they had sold out quick & they had a pretty decent selection from what I saw on reddit (Box 1 I think was a Cena, New Day, Shane, Lucha Dragons & Cesaro)(Box 2 was Zayn, Owens, Asuka, Reigns, Dudley's).
They put up Boxes 3 & 4 today. So if you buy it now, it's also 30% off because of the Labor Day sale. So with the dumb shipping and everything, comes out to be $26 for 5 shirts. Usually just one shirt is like $32 with shipping. So it's a no brainer, I took a chance & bought Box 4.
I'll let you know what I got when it gets here. I'm not going to look at Reddit to see what others got since that takes away the surprise.
If you want cheap shirts, highly suggest taking a chance.

No worries. She went from being kinda hot to looking like a goth corpse and her character and schtick were extremely tire. She came off as kind of a jackass on total divas. Doing lines off the banana boat hammock sealed the deal. |

Got my "mystery shirt" box today from WWEShop. 5 shirts for $25, but the Labor Dale sale only made it $26 total including the dumb shipping. What I got....was essentially shirts to wear at the gym.

The Usos one is awful. But honestly, the other four are fine. Dudleyz one isn't bad, Reigns is fine, Trips one doesn't really look like a wrestling shirt so that's cool and I have a Suplex city shirt already, so it's at least a different place.
Had I for some reason wanted to buy these shirts at regular price, it wouldve been $135, so I saved close to $110. It was worth a shot. Wish I had gotten better ones, but I'm fine with it.

I'm most annoyed about the Usos shirt. It's fucking awful. The Roman one is a lighter fabric, (that's me trying to justify that yes, I now have a Reigns shirt, haha) but the others are that same quality ones they usually use.
Figured it was worth a shot. I'd honestly try it again if they ever did it. The extra 33% off for Labor Day definitely made me buy this quicker.
I was legit worried I'd get stuck with Del Rio, Barrett, Ryback, Stardust shirts.
