I liked the ending a lot. Jericho/Owens split has been told perfectly.
I honestly wouldn't be opposed to Jericho vs Owens at Mania for the title. Have Rollins/Trips. Have Reigns do ANYTHING but main event another Mania where he isn't over.

I turned it on literally in time to see Reigns do that spear mess.
I just watched a nice compilation of all Goldberg's spears and then one of all Reigns' spears. Goldberg always made it look bad ass and yet Reigns does not. After watching the videos its pretty easy to see why that is. Reigns leaves his feet to early and it almost looks like he is a soccer goalie diving to save a corner shot through another mans body. Goldberg stays on his feet longer and then drills the guy and most importantly transfers that initial contact into a downward movement where he drives the guy into the mat. Unless there is some medical reason (like the guys taking the bump hitting their heads on the mat) I don't understand why they can't clean this up. It would make a huge difference.

Don't think the breakup is happening quite yet.
I can see this being a swerve and Jericho helps Owens win on Sunday.

I only got thru the first segment. Glad to see New Day won but I was still a bit worried because.......Vince. Anywho, the New Day did worlds more for me than Demolition ever did but I guess I mostly missed the Demolition era for the most part. If I remember correctly I believe I always thought of them as a generic ripoff of the Road Warriors.
Now I'd like to see them FINALLY lose the belts to whoever and eventually have Big E challenge for one of the singles straps. I'm not entirely sure what to do with them from this point to that point however. I wouldn't mind at all seeing Big E with a strap but don't really want to see that until at least a year from now.

You know what's crazy about this thread? Early in the thread randomone basically puts over Demolition huge saying that they were the tag team and got the record during basically the greatest era of tag team wrestling. Then Ryan comes along and basically says that Demolition was overrated. Then randomone comes back around, likes Ryan's post about Demolition being basically overrated and then replies that he completely agrees but goes on to lay out an entire post that shows Demolition were not overrated and that they got their record during the golden age basically. And then Ryan likes that post. Do you guys even realize that you did all that? |
