UK Classic was Nigel's tryout, so because that went so well, I'm assuming that's why he got the nod. I think Corino was brought in solely for a training role. While I'd like Corino more, having Nigel replace Graves isn't bad at all.
I'll miss Graves on commentary though for NXT. He & Tom had great chemistry (the best commentary team WWE has, even Percy Watson isn't all that bad honestly. He's not Byron or Otunga bad).

They just announced the winners of the year end awards.
Billie Kay & Peyton Royce win Breakout Stars of the Year. Surprised how much people don't like them. They're annoying, which is the point. I honestly think they're fantastic.
DIY vs Revival 2/3 falls won Match of the Year. Revival demands a tag title shot at the winners tonight.
Asuka & Shinsuke won Female & Male Stars of the Year. No brainer there.
Nakamura wins Competitor of the Year

Watching the pre-show, crowd seems very quiet, don't seem rowdy at all. Hopefully that changes.

Percy has been fine on NXT TV, but my God he's next level awful thus far. I spoke too soon with my earlier comments. Thanks for making me look like a damn fool, Percy!
Match was fine, very sloppy toward the end. Overall not a terrible opener. Just ok.

Crowd should be more into this than they are.
This is a very good match. Roddy just hit a backbreaker off the second rope onto the top.

Hell, she could knockdown some ketchup packets and I'd be good. Why wouldn't Billie and Peyton decide who wins before the match and just quickly pin the other? |

Didn't think I'd enjoy that match as much as I did either. Great way to neutralize Nikki, plus Peyton & Billie fucking brought it.
Only complaint is like you said Drop In, they should've done a fingerpoke of doom once both Nikki & Asuka were down.
Regardless, very solid match.
