They absolutely will. He will take 10 tombstones and choke slams like they are a slap on the ass and then will deliver a horrible "spear" and win. If they really want him to go heel then you have him lose to Taker and then have him deliver a post match beat down. Make the fans boo what they are supposed to boo. That would make him a face in 2017. |

The biggest problem with Reigns/Taker isn't Reigns going over as a babyface, it's Taker's condition. He looked awful at the Rumble. He had knee surgery last year, plus he's old, I don't see this being a good match & I don't seeing Roman being to blame.
We love to hate Roman, but the reasons we hate him are because WWE is trying to force him down the fans throat as the next Cena. Only thing I don't like about his in ring skills is the Superman Punch is way overused & the weird fisting gesture that goes along with it. Plus his version of the Spear is the lowest impact of the move possible. Aside from that, in big match situations, Roman is solid.
Can't say the same about Taker anymore. The Cell match last Mania moved at a snails pace & was about 30 minutes too long.

Meltzer said on WOR that in fact Miz & Maryse vs Cena & Nikki is the proposed plans. Alvarez said there's no way this doesn't end with Cena not proposing post match. You've been having Nattie on TV constantly say how John will never marry Nikki, this is the perfect time to do it. Dave said he thinks Nikki's career is ending soon because she's going into business, plus she's never had a mix tag with John (and you can build this for the dumb Total Bellas show as well). And John/Miz can promote it well. It sucks, but it's looking more likely. Still think it's wasting Cena. This is awful. I can't believe they are wasting Cena like this. |

Scorejr and I have decided that Roman Reigns should not only be in EVERY match at Wrestlemania but win every match as well. Decidedly. While possibly doing commentary, refereeing and selling refreshments as well.
It might not sound funny but it's hilarious talking on the phone about it with scorejr.

Apparently the rumored CW match planned for Mania is Neville defending the title against......Austin Aries, who is cleared to wrestle now.

We'll probably have a good idea after the PPV on Sunday. If Corbin or Miz eliminates Cena, then you know either one will more than likely get the match at Mania.
Still think the mix tag sadly happens. Corbin will probably be in the battle royal again to "defend his win", but also, hate to say it, but Ambrose is more than likely going to be stuck in there too. There's no one for him to wrestle that he hasn't already fought 30 times.
That said, am I the only one here who has been bored to tears by Ambrose in the ring the past few months? Aside from the AJ match last week, it looks like he isn't even trying anymore. He's going through the motions.
