Dopiest Rumble in memory. No Kane, no actually interesting surprises, no point.
Knowing what a hotbed of s'marks can be found in good ol' Laredo, TX, I'm sure this'll be a real firecracker of a show as they send off the Rumble and start building to Fastlane or mass suicide.
I think it starts off with Screechy McCuntwagon and Crossfit Jesus.

I think we get Roman/Strowman, Jericho/Zayn & Owens/Goldberg at Fastlane. Then get Owens/Jericho, Roman/Taker at Mania. It'd be interesting if Owens costs Jericho the US title to KO's biggest rival. After all this time he's praised Jericho for helping him, the one time he tries to help Y2J, he costs him the gold. Plus Sami can be the champ heading into whatever cluster fuck they have planned for 8 guys & presumably a ladder at Mania.

Well, at least Steph is rocking a booby shirt tonight. Makes her a little tolerable.
The screeching voice, awful promo, emasculating everyone, etc is all still to come unfortunately.

That was a really good back & forth promo with Seth & Steph. Seth didn't back down & Steph did her best to belittle him, but he fired back. I really liked it.
Remember when Rollins was the one in the Shield who wasn't allowed to talk because his promos weren't all that great? Those days are long gone. He's terrific on the mic.

So heel Neville's gimmick is the exact same thing as Charlotte. Bow to your King/Bow to your Queen. Just lazy writing. Crowd was dead silent when Swann/Neville brawled. I dug it, but only because I like both wrestlers. There's zero reason to be interested in the CW division & again, that's the fault of creative.
FUUUUCCCKKKK we're getting RuRu/Jinder vs Enzo/Cass yet again. Truly hope RuRu demolishes his jacked up jobber of a partner & gets back to being on his own with Lana.

I honestly don't see how they have Roman go into Mania as anything but a heel. I mean he could beat the piss out of Taker & leave him laying, thus the heel turn, but damn, we're going to have to go 2 more months until then.
Roman vs Strowman is apparently the main events for Raw house shows the next month. So happy Smackdown is coming here in the end of February.
