That being said, the other board had become a disaster. I don't know why it went from a basically moderation-free zone for five years, then changed practically overnight.

The fact of the matter is there's stinking piles of shit on both sides ... to think or act otherwise isn't going to last very long if I see it.
Just say what you have to say, or don't bring it up in the first place.
I do NOT get why people elect to say "oh I've got something super awesome to say" or the like instead of just saying it or keeping their yap shut.

I'll say this. To this point, there's only been two "moderations" if you will.
1. IkeSouth was banned before getting started due to what he stated he intended to do over here.
2. The "C" word was changed.
There were a couple other issues with sign-ups, but those have all been cleared up.
Everybody that has wished to join (other than Ike) have all been accepted.

I said what I had to say. I like the split but hope this place isn't over-moderated. I don't have problems with anyone at CSFMB but the moderator. I don't like the one side vs. another stuff and I hope one group's posts (whoever those people are) don't get pruned over here because of some silly schism.

IB - nothing about the board is a disaster. It's more or less the same board we both joined in '07. Just say you had a personal problem with biggie over some contest and don't be so disingenuous.

To be completely honest, I hadn't even remembered that. I know that I've had threads pruned before, some of which I knew why, some of which I simply discovered had disappeared. I know plenty of other threads I've followed have disappeared too.
I'm not making some big protest. I barely ever have time to post anyway. But some of the little things that I loved about the place like Mults tended to disappear. Whatever. It's his board and he can do as he likes. If I want different rules I can find a different board, or start my own.

It was overwhelming at times I agree, but when done right (Dim O'Braincell, etc.) it was great. It's weird doing this across two boards, so I probably won't respond again in this thread.
