I'm so glad they decided against Regal this year. He deserves a Rude type slot and the card is just too loaded this year. Maybe I say this often, but this HOF has been incredible. I like them cutting back on the number of people inducted per year too. Makes the show more special. Gives them more time to do speeches too. |

Rude's daughter is pretty gorgeous. I liked that acceptance speech. His son did good. Beth up next. Lawler just said "none more deserving" eh, I could list about 5 or 6 more deserving, but whatever. I'm fine with this. The son killed it. I thought it was great. |

It got a little grandstanding and celebrating some odd people. The sweet spot of any speech is not being limited like WWE has done the last five years, but also not giving an open mic and telling people to have at it. That said, this is still always the better option. Let it flow.
I thought Beth did an amazing job. They obviously knew Edge could takeover the whole thing and distract from her. Great planning, especially if he didn't know.

Something has just always seemed incredibly weird with this Dana Warrior. I hope I'm wrong. But a questionable character in real life was brought back in the fold. He passes away suddenly. Now these incredible stories are represented by his wife who supported his homophobic, divisive stances, and other horrible beliefs for twenty years. Just rubs me the wrong way.

You aren't alone, I thought the same thing. She came out talking about how great Warrior was, I was thinking "does she know that she's inducting Eric LeGrand & not Warrior?"
Totally am fine with the Warrior Award, but think they should have someone else do the inducting each year.
Now, I'm going to get teary eyed right now. I have zero apologies.
