Man, Teddy is awesome. He's another guy I miss as a character on WWE TV.

Just watched this show this morning. Holy shit that was long but awesome. They could probably do Warrior Award as a video package and cut some time and give audience a piss break. Angle fucking crushed it - that was incredible. ALso pretty sure Jericho was smashed the entire night.

I just hope they find a happy balance for the length of speeches. After Flair went for 4 1/2 hours, they started implementing an Oscar style cutoff. But the speeches were killed in their prime and people were rushed. That sucked. But if you just give these types of performers the floor, they're never going to stop. This is likely the last time many will have a crowd this size listening to their words. You could tell Zbysko one year had nothing left to say. He just wanted to keep going to be in the spotlight.
DDP was long, but I feel like he pretty much had the crowd until the end. I thought Beth was well above my expectations, but the crowd started to lag until she got the husband pop. Poor Teddy Long looked like he went back to the crack days because they gave him the "wrap this thing up quick, we're going long" speech before he went out. Again, hopefully some adults can coordinate the deal so we find the happy balance.
