So what the hell was up with Referee Drake Weurtz(did the tag ladder match)? The guy was orange. A mishap in the spray tan booth?

Was thinking about this PPV again. Not their best, but man I really enjoyed watching that. I don't even watch regularly but somehow these guys made me care instantly. I attribute that to the wrestling style and the way the broadcast team presented this event as a legit wrestling show.
Fantasy booking, NXT vs Raw or Smackdown for one hour on two different channels. Would the tv ratings be crazy far off currently? (No Cena)

Would the tv ratings be crazy far off currently? (No Cena) First, I also rarely watch the weekly show. Outside of one Takeover, I was instantly involved in every match. The video packages help, but it's the performers. I do think the TV ratings and overall casual interest would take a hit. People watch new if it's flashy. Dug in fans will just watch if it's new. If you introduce a totally new group of people, it would take a hit. |

(No Cena) I watch the show every week & can honestly say, while it gets boring from time to time because of how slow they build stuff, it's somewhat refreshing, because when you finally get to the Takeover matches, even the lowest match on the card has a build to it. Same can't be said for WWE PPVs.
Is the roster as strong as it once was? Absolutely not, but people need to realize that (I hate when people just get stuck on that & pretty much give up on the show. I've complained about the lack of talent, but still give the current talent a chance to keep my interest, which, 90% of the time I'd say they're successful at)
1 hour show plays a HUGE part into it. While you can see it as not enough time to get in everyone in the show each week, they don't need to be. WWE forces everyone on the roster onto the show & it's boring. 1 hour allows them to spread it out.
They still have very good matches on the NXT TV show (Almas vs Ohno for instance a few weeks ago was really good), but once Takeover comes along, you know, regardless of the card, they're going to have their working boots on.
Which, again, same can't be said for the main roster, who phones it in a majority of the time (not everyone, but most).

Read the spoilers for the TV tapings. Ciampa cut a long (what is said to be awesome) promo, but he came out on crutches. So I don't know how long he'll be out for, hopefully not long, but Gargano obviously wasn't on the tapings. I'd 100% have Ciampa cut promos/vignettes while he is out. Then he can come back & have Gargano come back as well. They really shouldn't just sit on both guys being out. They need to take advantage of promo time, especially for Ciampa.
I won't ruin anything else storyline wise, but Aleister Black & Kassius Ohno said to have a fantastic main event, which should surprise no one.
