Honestly, with the exception of AJ/KO, Ziggler bumping for Nakamura & Breezango, this show looks awful. But, I'll be watching. I think Rusev gets involved in the main event & lays everyone out. |

I think English has potential, but this isn't working. It's not English's fault either. Problem is, they aren't willing to have babyfaces lose to him. There aren't enough singles guys on the roster to feud with either. He just lost for a 3rd time to Dillinger tonight. What harm would it have done for Aiden to steal a win? Was it necessary for Tye to win that match? No, but they book to get a brief pop from the crowd & nothing more.
There isn't another title for Aiden to go after either. They don't have him go over Dillinger, they won't have him go over Mojo, who honestly is left for him to have a few matches & win against? Sami Zayn? Maybe, but Zayn is "upper level jobber" if that makes sense.
He absolutely has the talent, I actually like the character, it's the perfect level of annoying. However he won't get over with the crowd by constantly losing. Yet they'll blame it on the talent for not getting over & not the shitty creative.
Broken record.

I don't see all the hype with Dillinger. He is boring. I like English and his gimmick - hopefully he doesn't get the Sandow treatment.

Takeover last night spoiled me. I wasn't over the top thrilled with Nakamura/Ziggler. It wasn't bad at all, but it just felt like a Smackdown TV match missing the commercial break.
My boys are next! Don't expect them to win the tag titles, but I've been entertained by their skits. #OurDayOneIsH

I thought that was an incredibly fun little match. Crowd helped that a lot. Commentary was atrocious, but that's expected.
Now we get to the portion of the show where I couldn't care less. Zayn/Corbin, Harper/Rowan, the ladies 6 woman tag.

I thought AJ/KO picked up a lot as the match went on. They had a long enough match where they actually got to take their time with it. Countout due to the knee tells a good story as KO worked on it last week on TV. Liked how it ended too. They did what happened to Orton once (him falling through the table, messing his leg up), but turned it into a finish.
Totally fine with this feud continuing.
