Do you think Coach has been bad? I haven't watched much but I preferred him over tatoo guy (i forgot his name)

My biggest complaint about Graves is he's too snarky, like super overkill. He can be cocky & arrogant, but it's so overboard. He was great in NXT before Vince got his hands on him. Coach on the other hand is awful. It's clear every week that he doesn't watch the product and hasn't since he's been gone. He mispronounces names, makes dumb analogies, to the point where Cole & Graves just roll their eyes & have to correct him. I have no idea what happened to Coach because during his first run there, I liked his commentary. Now it's like he's a completely different commentator, a much suckier one. Cole is a robot, so that hasn't changed. |

Oh thats not good at all. i think I saw his first night back and I liked how he made it about the sport. He was "sport" storytelling more than the other two. That's how I prefer broadcasts to be. Maybe he did it good for five minutes that I watched and has sucked since.

Not surprising; he was a real asshole when he was younger. Kicked out of the Marine Corps, came into wrestling feeling entitled and immature; also disrespectful in other ways according to rumors. I'm sure he doesn't do that stuff now.

I don't doubt the Orton stuff for a second. I would actually be more surprised if you told me Orton DIDN'T have his dick out when meeting writers.
As far as Patterson, I'm not sure. Could he be the Jerry Sandusky of WWE, just with people of age? I had a moment when I was cheering for him at the Prichard Live show. "Could this be a really bad guy?" I've never heard any definitive accusations against him and seems beloved. But that's why I use the Sandusky comp. Did everyone just turn their head?

It’s rrally hard to ignore the multiple accusations in the 80’s. At the time Vince removed him from the company. A lot of people were paid off. Sucks. Honestly, he probably made it ten years more than I thought he would. I remember watching a shoot interview with Anvil and Bret. He was literally convulsing for half the interview, assumably from pills. I couldn't believe they let him be on camera in that condition. Bret seemed annoyed but kept going with the interview. I had to quit watching because it was just uncomfortable.

Well you know they need room on the main card for that barn burner of a feud between Corbin & Balor.
Then again maybe it's because Balor will be The Demon on this show and main card would make sense for that. Maybe he squashes Corbin that way?
Regardless it's a fucking 7 hour show, you can't fit a 7-8 minute mix tag on the main card? Just cut one of your 75 video packages.

Rousey can get a fairly quick win with a high profile woman wrestler this creating a highly publicized match. It doesn’t hurt a current woman on the roster either. I can’t believe I’m defending this but it makes sense to me. Make her an established champion. Ronda should own the belt for a few months before losing it to a heel that she can chase to mania. Or eventually turn her heel. |
