Coach out. Booker back in on Monday. Bad. Honestly, Graves has been the issue in the booth. When does he get the heat? Booker is awful and Coach had trouble catching up. But Graves knew how to bury him. I wasn't pining for a Coach return, but we need to look at it now instead of two years from now. P.S. The current announcer issue will always be Vince.

Give Renee a shot. She could be different and you're so hell bent on driving home the women's revolution, just give her a shot for a few weeks. Lord knows she's been wasted for years doing pointless backstage interviews. She's way too talented for what she's doing.
Vince is set in his setup if you will.

She did some announcing in NXT I believe.

Yup and she was good too.
They just seem to want robots as backstage interviewers and Renee has the only personality.
I get Vince wants to have diversity for the commentary team, but there are occasions where it just doesn't click, at least not the options he's gone with.
Saxton, Graves and Tom on SD are actually a pretty solid trio. Tom hits all his talking points but doesn't come off nearly as robotic as fuckin Cole, who is just awful.

I mean, get someone with personality...MVP, maybe Mark Henry if you want diversity. Byron Saxton is/plays dumb & weak, Booker seems wacky, Coach needs to just do interviews again.

I’m going to throw it out there and this will be unpopular. I think graves sucks. I prefer Coach. His style has been to treat it a bit more like a sport - at least when I’ve tuned in. Graves started well but I think he is atrocious now.

Graves' snarkyness has become a huge reason why I don't like him as much anymore. We get it, you're the condescending one. That's it.
Only reason why I end up liking Graves more is that Cole sucks and Coach has been out of the game so long he doesn't know what he's talking about.
Tom Phillips is the best commentator on the main roster. There's no comparison.

Graves has lived long enough to become the villain.

Graves is still okay. He has to be the heel announcer though and stop worrying about correcting Cole or Booker/Coach.

Graves is still okay. He has to be the heel announcer though and stop worrying about correcting Cole or Booker/Coach. Bingo. I don’t think he is focused on what’s important for his role on the broadcast team or hasn’t mastered the art f being able to make it all work. He’s regressed in my opinion. He has such a tough job with Vince probably ruining him in his headset. I like the guy. He just isn’t good anymore and probably, through little fault of his own. I mean, Vince has regressed. Michael Cole calls matches the way early Monday night Raw Vince McMahon calls matches. A lot of what they do has an early RAW vibe in all the bad ways. Think King-Doink era. That’s where I feel like the product is from a narrative standpoint. It’s just such a damn shame with this roster on both shows.

Does anyone know how long Brock's new deal is? Was it just for a month or 2? I know I had seen stuff about him being able to work both WWE and UFC, but I don't think that is wise for him or the companies. I'm still holding out hope for a Brock/Jones fight.

Well if Brock is going back to UFC, then he has to re-enter USADA for a certain period of time (I think at least 6 months) but I thought he still had a suspension to serve for getting popped after the Hunt fight. He just "retired" instead of serving any sort of suspension for that and just went back to WWE.
I think Brock drops the title at Longest Rumble Ever and then maybe puts one other person over before he leaves.
Dana said he'd get a shot at the title, which is bullshit, but a money grab on Dana's part because if you put Brock in there with a Top 10 contender, he's getting worked.
I never want to see Jon Jones fight ever again. Dude is a tremendously talented fighter but also a masterclass asshole shitty human being. Then again money comes first for Dana, so I'm sure it'll happen.

According to the Observer, Alexa got a boob job, that's why she didn't get involved much in the match Monday and why she wasn't on the recent tour.
If you've seen her recent Snapchat or IG story, there's no arguing that it's true.

And since I'm not going to touch them, it doesn't bother me that she got bolt-on's.

Lawler said on his podcast that he thinks the ladies are getting a big payoff for NOT going to Saudi Arabia.
It's sad that WWE is doing business over there to begin with, but this is still very interesting.

That is interesting.
At least they're paying them off for being treated like second class citizens.

It's sad that WWE is doing business over there to begin with, but this is still very interesting. I'm kind of torn because I definitely don't trust this company to just do the right thing. It's possible Saudi Arabia is trying to improve. But it almost reminds me of Stephanie saying charity is the new marketing. It seems by the territory's own admission, this is financially based. They realized torturing people and not allowing women to drive is becoming bad for business. I'll give it a couple years before I judge it.

Is it true this is the first show of a ten year deal? I read a comment saying that online and didnt bother following it up.
If so, what the hell is WWE thinking aside from a major cash grab?
Guess this part will conveniently be left out of any "Women's Evolution" video packages.

Yes. 10-Year deal with potentially huge money coming in. Supposedly linked up with Saudi Arabia's attempts to enter 1920. It could be real, but I don't trust anything. This is a really good summary of the stuff I've been reading over the last couple weeks.

When asked this week about WWE’s decision to keep its female roster off the major show in a country known for its horrific treatment of women, Levesque, the wrestler turned executive, said that it came down to a difference in “culture.”
“I understand that people are questioning it, but you have to understand that every culture is different and just because you don’t agree with a certain aspect of it, it doesn’t mean it’s not a relevant culture,” he told he told The Independent. “You can’t dictate to a country or a religion about how they handle things but, having said that, WWE is at the forefront of a women’s evolution in the world and what you can’t do is affect change anywhere by staying away from it.”
No you can't dictate to a country what their stupid, bass-ackwards culture is. You also don't have to do business with said country for millions of dollars.
This is hope indeed.
You fucking fraud.

Came across this. Thought it might be interesting.... or not? Thanks for sharing this. It should be noted that this event has probably brought the most ever attention to the lack of women’s rights in Saudi Arabia? I think WWE is passively doing this to affect change in the country.
