WWE is doing this for the $100 - $200 million payday.
Fuck them.

I really don't mind his in ring work whatsoever for the most part.

His character and mic skills more than makes up for his in ring work.
Good for The Drifter. If you told me back in NXT this character would get over as much as it has, I'd think you were nuts.

Read this on the Squared Circle Reddit. It's as to why the sumo dude was in the Rumble. This is so dumb that I actually 100% believe it.
On today's WOR Dave reported that the Saudi prince who wanted the GRR asked Vince McMahon for some key wrestlers to appear on the show, among them the Undertaker, the Ultimate Warrior and Yokozuna. So apparently they decided to get at least a guy that looks like Yokozuna on the show.
Seeing as Saudi Arabia has one of the worst views of gay rights in the world, it's no wonder why they wanted the Ultimate Warrior.

So they wanted 2 dead guys and the Dead Man who should stay retired before he becomes an actual dead man. Way to keep current jabronis!

They cut off hands for stealing. I'm going to say not being current on pro wrestling isn't high on the list of issues.

Keith Lee has signed with WWE and will be reporting to NXT this month. He's still PWG champ and will presumably be dropping the title to Sammy Guevara at the next show.
Also WWE has made an offer to WALTER but I'm not sure if he signed or not. I hope he does. Both he & Keith are two of the best heavyweights in the world.

I guess randomone's best friend says this list is inaccurate but it didn't really say how far off any of the salaries are. In any event, the women's revolution apparently doesn't translate when it comes to the money they're making. People like Nia, Mandy Rose, Ruby, a few others are making $100,000. I wonder what their take home is after you subtract all the expenses of travel, lodging, food, health insurance etc......

I could buy most of that. New Day seems really low. Usos and Braun as well.

Cesaro and Sami only $500K is surprising.
Epico for $200K and Brie for $300K are both highway robberies. Think of how long both of them have been there.

The company truly deserves any financial hardships it runs into (not that it really has). Brock getting $12 million is a fucking slap in the face to every person working their asses off every night.
I wonder what the number of people are who go to a show just because Brock is there.

I wonder what the number of people are who go to a show just because Brock is there. It's only a slap in the face if he isn't drawing that money. People said giving Tyson $3M in 1998 was a slap in the face to guys on the roster. Or Bret Hart who they said they couldn't afford. But casual fans weren't buying Wrestlemania for Goldust. They were attracted because Tyson was around. That said, I don't know how they justify that number for Lesnar. But they have to possess some information he's worth it.

Yeah but when Tyson was brought in, WrestleMania wasn't the draw, Tyson was. So I understand them spending the money to get the publicity.
Brock wrestles on big shows, where the names of the shows have become the draw. WrestleMania now is the draw. Summerslam is the draw. Survivor Series (albeit its become just another show) is the draw. The Rumble is the draw.
I'm not saying Brock himself isn't a draw, but he's nowhere near the amount being paid to him to dictate what he's being paid. He's not that big of a draw.
Brock has lost 95% of his appeal for me. He's good in multi man matches where he can hide out a bit, take a big bump, then come back and murder people. If it's just singles matches, it puts me to sleep immediately.

Bodyslam.net is now reporting that former WWE cruiserweight champion Neville is closer than ever to leaving the company. The last time there was an update on the situation, it was revealed that Neville was still sitting out his contract at home. He has reportedly asked for his release but so far WWE has not granted it.
The latest report reveals that the former 205 Live superstar is no longer living in Florida, which he called home during his WWE career. He said quietly said goodbye to his American friends and went back to the UK, but has tried to keep the move secret.
Another source said that Neville’s name hasn’t been mention within WWE “in ages.” “The Man That Gravity Forgot” walked out of the company in October of last year due to being unhappy with his job. As of now, he’s still under contract.

I was under the impression that Neville had parted ways with them like a year ago or so.

I know we all agree Booker sucks at the broadcast booth for Raw but I do enjoy him as a personality. Spitballing here and they will never do to, but maybe Booker would be an interesting choice to do a morning show on the network (that isn’t only about wresting).

I like the idea of a layered morning show. Booker is at best a guest. Morning show hosts need to connect with people on a daily basis. Booker would wear people out quickly.

Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir have been signed to deals and will report to the PC.
So that's the entire Four Horsewomen with Shayna and Ronda.
Jessamyn has been training for a while already. Marina is either the girlfriend or fiancé of Roderick Strong, I know they just had a baby together.

It could only be Nia or Carmella. Everyone else on the show is married or engaged.
