Why in the world wouldn't the E close the show with Nakamura & AJ? Why are they nut shotting each other?? It's AJ & Shinske and they're KICKING EACH OTHER IN THE DICK!!!!!!
It's unconscionable. Say what you will about Roman but two of the absolute best wrestlers in the world are Molina'ing each other. It's fucking amazing.
WWE's handling of Nakamura to date has been not so arguably way worse than that of Roman Reigns. Roman doesn't have this kind of talent. Shinske does and this is what you still get.
As randomone pointed out, I don't understand a count out in a No DQ match.

I definitely don't blame Roman at all. He's a dude doing his job. It's definitely Vince's fault. Had they handled this guy properly, he could've been cheered big time. Yet it has to be VINCE'S WAY no matter what the fans think. 4 years he's been positioned as one of the company's top babyfaces and he's been booed for a majority of it. At some point you need to realize it's not the fans.
They booked themselves into a problem with this match. Joe goes to Smackdown, so this match having a clean winner, makes the losing brand look like losers. Joe lost clean, so SD's monster looks like a joke. Why did this match need to have a clean winner? Oh, because the rest of your PPV was booked so poorly

Regarding AJ vs Nakamura, if you told me that a feud with those two in WWE would be the worst booked (not wrestled) feud in recent memory, I'd think you were lying.
They've had 3 title matches in less than a month.
2nd match ended in a double countout 3rd match, a NO DQ match (for some reason), ends again, in a DOUBLE COUNTOUT
Nakamura has hit at least 10 low blows on AJ since Mania, that's not a joke. So not only have they ran that into the ground, they make AJ look like a moron for not wearing a cup. If people bitch about him not being allowed to wear a cup, it's not legal, LAST NIGHT WAS A NO DQ MATCH!!! That was the night he should've wore one!!

There's so much wrestling available that caters to fans and tells cohesive, well thought out stories to go along with great matches that the people you could count on to be your core audience are going away.

This Roman Reigns thing is one of the strangest situations I've ever seen in wrestling. I have never a wrestling company so consistently and insistently push a guy who isn't over. When Warrior failed to draw in 1990, Vince took the title off him at the earliest opportunity. When Luger's Lex Express failed to get over, Vince didn't force the title on Luger. He held off and put it on the guy we wanted...Bret. When the WWF ran on Diesel power and nearly tanked the business, Vince pulled the plug. Why has Vince continued to push Reigns, despite every possible factor indicating that the guy is just not connecting with the audience? It's time to pull the plug on Roman Reigns as the top guy. I don't care that Brock has the belt, we know that Reigns is the top guy. It's done. Why can't they see that?

I heard an interesting theory over the weekend. I think it was JR. They've already made the decision to move off Reigns and make Braun the guy. But they're doing a slow burn push to make the fans believe he's their guy. "WHY ISN'T HE ALREADY CHAMPION?!?!" stuff. Meanwhile they're making him more rounded, like the silly tag stuff with the kid, the Alexa pairing, etc. While keeping him a badass. The obvious risk is killing off his heat in the process.
That might not sound like it makes sense, but I get it if true.

That's a smart idea if true.
You do run the risk of fans stopping caring, but as long as he destroys someone every so often then he should stay over.

That sounds a little bit like the '97 Austin push, where they kept him away from the title, but allowed him to give stunners to almost everybody on the roster. I just worry that they'll hold off too long on Strowman. There is a very finite window for pushing a guy at the right time and I hope they don't miss it.

They had a terrible camera angle when Charlotte threw Mella into the ring by her ring gear. The moon was out, but obscured.
I loved the post game show. Great stuff the whole thing. The PPV itself, meh.
