Backlash is tonight, I'm not sure even some of the people who work for WWE even know that. Last weeks TV certainly didn't feel like go home shows. I've seen better builds for matches on old WCW Nitros than this show. There's title matches, I'm sure some new champs, I really don't care. Anyways, I'll be here (watching this and the Cubs game).
No DQ for the WWE Championship AJ Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura
IC Title Seth Rollins vs The Miz
US Title Jeff Hardy vs Randy Orton
RAW Women's Title Nia Jax vs Alexa Bliss
Smackdown Women's Title Carmella vs Charlotte
Roman Reigns vs Samoa Joe
Daniel Bryan vs Big Cass
Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn vs Braun Strowman & Bobby Lashley
Pre-Show Bayley vs Ruby Riott
So either Nakamura wins via legal low blow or AJ finally wears a cup and counters all the nut shots. Nakamura winning does make sense, but I'd chasing a bit more. This is the 3rd match already, so I'll go AJ, just because I want AJ vs Joe for the title
Rollins over Miz, obviously. I could see Hardy winning and Randy slowly show signs of a much needed heel turn.
Not sure if Alexa's boobs are ready for action (so to speak), but I'm going with Nia. Also Carmella as champ is perfect and Charlotte doesn't need a title at this point. So I think both women's champs retain
Joe should beat Roman, but we've seen Roman look like a boob too much since Mania, so either they start booking Roman like a sympathetic babyface (good luck) and have Joe win or they just have Roman beat Joe clean, which they shouldn't.
Sucks to say, but Cass should get a shitty win over Bryan. Build him as a heel. Bryan will always be Bryan.
KO/Sami got steamrolled by Braun/Lashley on RAW a few weeks ago. I could see Lashley turn and have Braun vs Lashley. So I'll go KO/Sami.

The only match I really care about is DB v Cass. I agree Cass should win due to some sort of HEEL stuff. The internet will go crazy and the YES! movement can start again. Plus it just makes wrestling booking sense.
I legit didn't know this was tonight. Between Cubs, Billions, and Westworld, I'll probably be distracted.

Nakamura has to win. Otherwise he's failed in 4 championship matches.
Want to see how they handle Joe and Reigns. Have to imagine Reigns wins but if they are going with the "Reigns losing to build character" deal then I could see Joe winning via screwjob.
Westworld and Billions will have my attention tonight though.

Strong crowd tonight. Minus the Squared Circle douche.
Really enjoyed this IC match. Good storytelling with Miz targeting the knee of Rollins late in the match. Fans bit on the figure four, then reversals of it. Then Miz hit his finish on Rollins and I even bought it.
Only thing I don't like was Rollins hit his curb stomp with the bad leg and it was still enough to put away Miz, despite Rollins kicking out of Miz's finish.
Very strong opener otherwise. Miz's best singles match in, maybe ever

Dear Lord they showed a bunch of tweets about empowering women with Nia winning the title.
The Moment of Bliss segments was the best thing Alexa has done on the main roster. "Nia ripped a turkey leg out of a homeless woman's hands and just gobbled it up"

Im not watching tonight as I cancelled the network a while back.
Wouldn’t be surprised if this ends up being a good show because it seems when they have shitty builds the matches end up creating a quality show. Unfortunately the opposite happens a lot to with great builds followed by shitty matches.

Yeah but Booker doesn't have a person to play off of like Chuck does Shaq. If they had any commentary duo that has half the fun and chemistry as Chuck and Shaq, they'd be lucky. Inside the NBA is friggin great.
Nia's post match promo is the definition of douche-chilling.
