I'm not talking about the obvious ones that are universally praised (Savage/Steamboat, Undertaker/Michaels, etc). I'm talking about the ones that usually fall under the radar.
I will post these as they come to mind, but the one I'm thinking about right now is Jeff Jarrett vs. Shawn Michaels at IYH Nashville, July 1995. I read a lot of online hate when Jarrett's HOF inclusion was announced early this year and there were a lot of people claiming that Jarrett never had a good match. I kept wondering if those people were choosing to ignore this one or if they had simply forgotten about it.
This match was southern old-school mixed with the 90s fast-paced style and for whatever reason, Jarrett and Shawn absolutely clicked in this match. The pacing, the psychology, the heat, everything was there. It's a shame we never saw these two guys hook up again, because they probably could have topped this. Just a great match.
