You know it is ok to have a comedy guy on their roster, right? He's a solid worker too, not one dimensional.
Who else on their roster is a comedy guy? No one. I'm not counting Nakazawa, who does the one comedy oil spot, since I don't see him being used a ton on TV.
So if out of 60+ people they have a guy who does comedy, I'm totally fine with that.

Depends on the comedy. I was fine with Cassidy in the Battle Royale. His goofy kicks to Dreamer were pretty damn funny. Now if Dreamer had acted like those kicks actually hurt and was selling them, I would've been pissed. For the record, KS Jr & myself can't stand Nakazawa. |

I have no doubt in my mind this was super rehearsed & multiple takes, but this is how you cut a promo. Brandi was perfect. No yelling, just talking facts. This beat the living shit out of any other female promo I've seen.

Kenny Omega wrestled a blowup doll and a little girl. Same with Kota Ibushi.
Are those guys not real wrestlers?
Comedy has it's place.
And eventually Cassidy changes his gimmick a little and everyone relaxes.

I'm gonna be extremely interested to see what the AEW PPV schedule ends up looking like. Very doubtful I'd allow myself to get any more than 4 of their PPV's a year. That's already $200 a year right there. (Which I'm fine with but I'm not going any higher than that)

In all honesty it's better he gets healthy. You don't want him furthering an injury before TV really kicks into gear. Hope he gets better

I'm fine with the whole thing. Feel bad for Mox. I think Mox/Omega would've been somewhat similar to Jericho/Page. I think the Omega/PAC dynamic will fit in better with the overall card to be honest.
