I'm sorry but I just need to get cathartic for a moment. September 2020 was when it all started. Something told me something was wrong. 6 am. I went upstairs and found mom breathing sporadically in the living room. I called 911. After a couple days at the hospital, we found out her ovarian cancer had returned. She had it and beat it in like 2007. It was already stage 4 this time. Doctor said we could could get a year or two for her.
I spent the next year caring for her in ways that I didn't think I was capable of. It's amazing what strength you can garner from love. Unconscionable things become second nature. I don't know how many people told me they couldn't do that. I'm not so so sure about that. You'd be surprised what you can do for your loved ones when it gets right down to it.
Anywho, as mom and me were going thru what we were going thru my brother was going thru so much more. His wife succumbed to dementia in May 2021 after 4 years of that awful disease. Our aunt (my Godmother and favorite aunt) passed somewhat unexpectedly in April 2021. Our mom passed in August of 2021. My brother's best friend passed the day after our mom's funeral in 2021. He got home a month or two later and his dog passed 2 days after getting home.
If that shit don't change you, nothing will.

The fact that you’ve had a positive outlook over so much tragedy in recent years is incredibly admirable. Keep that up, as it’s refreshing as hell with so much negativity in the world.

What exactly does he have to gain by this experience? No one is going to tune into AEW that watched Fox Business. They also aren't a public company. This appearance makes no sense at all to me. I remember when Tony made a smart decision early on to say he didn't want to be the face of the company. He has kind of turned into a media whore as of late. Someone has to break it to him that he's not that guy. Republicans watch wrestling, too. You honestly believe someone who watches Fox business, sees TK talking about his wrestling company ends up deciding to watch AEW and then becomes a fan? |

Multiple AEW stars are currently dealing with injuries and here are some updates via Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com…
* It was confirmed that Skye Blue suffered a broken ankle while facing Hikaru Shida on Collision this past Saturday. Skye’s boyfriend Kyle Fletcher shared a photo to social media of Skye with her leg in a cast.
* Dalton Castle is set to miss the remainder of 2024 after being injured during a match with Roderick Strong on Collision. According to Alvarez, Castle did not suffer a concussion but will need to undergo surgery.
* Jay White’s injury that caused The Bang Bang Gang (White, Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn) to vacate the AEW Trios titles is a legitimate foot injury. However, White is not expected to miss a significant amount of time from the ring.
* As seen during Collision, The Patriarchy (Christian Cage, Killswitch & Nick Wayne) defeated Juice Robinson & The Gunns to become the new AEW Trios champions. Killswitch reportedly hurt his arm in the match but he is expected to work through it. The injury is possibly a partially torn biceps.

You have to assume it’s for Spanish broadcasts because they already have Renee, Lexy Nair, Arkady Aura & Alicia Atout between AEW/ROH.

So unless he means HOOK, who Jericho was feuding with before The Learning Tree, I have no idea who he’s talking about. Joe? Shibata? Both are mid 40s. Big Bill is 37, so I guess he could mean him.

As they approach a new media rights deal, AEW will keep another star under contract.
Buddy Matthews, better known as Buddy Murphy, rose to prominence in WWE, where he held the Raw & NXT Tag Team and Cruiserweight titles before leaving in June 2021. He previously worked for MLW and NJPW before joining AEW in February 2022.
Following his signing with AEW, he formed House of Black alongside Malakai Black and Brody King. They achieved success together. They’ve won the Trios title once together.
Some have speculated that Matthews, who is currently dating Rhea Ripley, may return to WWE once his AEW contract expires. The couple became engaged in August 2023. However, this is not the case.
Ibou of WrestlePurists reported that the Australian had re-signed with AEW. The AEW star has yet to publicly address his contract status.
In July 2022, AEW President Tony Khan told Busted Open Radio that Black had “almost five years” left on his contract, which means he will be with AEW until 2027.
