That's why I shake my head when I see fans online praying for AEW to fold or get bought out by WWE. AEW is nowhere near folding. AEW could be at WCW bottom floor levels and it still wouldn't matter. They basically have unlimited cash to spend and lose. This father doesn't care how much his son pisses away. It just doesn't matter. |

Are there numerous things I wish were done differently since the beginning? Sure. Startups burn cash before being profitable. I think referring to it as pissing away money is silly. In my opinion, the source of the money clouds people's judgement. As Speeps said, we don't even know where the numbers were at in the first five years. They also have all of that content, which while that bubble is finally getting ready to burst, who knows what five years of randomone's carpal tunnel will produce? |

I still think he could be a main eventer (as dumb as the booking surrounding it was, he main evented Wembley), but it’s going to take an awful lot of luck to stay healthy.
It’s unfortunate his health and injury woes hampered what could’ve been a great run.
He could be a top level guy, but maybe not World Champ.
