That sounds like something I'm glad I missed. Sam is playing a role, but I started to get the idea he's getting a little cocky last year. Hope I'm wrong. This all sounds annoyingly bad.

Backlash has been cancelled because they don't want any backlash from the Saudi show. How rich.

Considering that it’s now been a week since the Superstar Shake-Up began, we all thought we were safe from roster swaps for a little bit. It turns out that WWE in 2019 is always full of surprises. After being drafted to RAW on last week’s episode, Andrade and his manager Zelina Vega could be heading back to SmackDown this week. The report comes from Pro Wrestling Sheet stating that upper brass felt the move was necessary after last week’s shows.
If you head to WWE.com, you can see both Superstars are currently listed as members of the blue brand. Also listed for SmackDown is Aleister Black, Zelina Vega’s husband. This also reflects in Aleister Black’s Facebook profile picture He was called up alongside Riccochet in a tag team, but it seems that Andrade’s move necessitated the pair splitting up. This could be for the best, as both wrestlers shined in singles competition on NXT before their main roster days.

I bet the fact that Andrade is Charlotte's new boy toy has nothing to do with this move back to the show she's on

Here's a bit more.....
As noted earlier, WWE has quietly moved Andrade and Zelina Vega back to the SmackDown roster after they were moved to RAW in the 2019 Superstar Shakeup last week. Aleister Black, who is married to Vega, was also moved to the blue brand after being confirmed for the red brand in the Shakeup last week.
Besides WWE United States Champion Samoa Joe going to RAW from SmackDown on tonight's show, there will be at least one more roster change as Cesaro is moving from SmackDown to RAW, according to John Pollock. This would break up The Bar as Sheamus is staying on SmackDown. As noted, the tag team of Ricochet and Black is also splitting up as Ricochet will stay on the red brand. Pollock adds that Cesaro is scheduled for tonight's RAW in Des Moines, Iowa.
Regarding Andrade and Vega moving back to SmackDown, PWInsider reports that the move was made, in part, at the request of Fox officials as they prepare for SmackDown to join the network in early October on Friday nights. The network apparently felt like the blue brand lacked any major Latino Superstars following the Superstar Shakeup as Rey Mysterio was moved to RAW. Fox has plans to spotlight WWE's Latino talents on their Spanish language channel, Fox Deportes, later this year when the Friday night move happens.
Black's move to SmackDown was, at least in part, due to his marriage to Vega. WWE has made an effort to keep married couples on the same brand. As noted, Andrade will be back on the same brand as girlfriend Charlotte Flair now. PWInsider adds that there were some ideas pitched for Black on SmackDown that went with the move.

Why don't they call them the Valhalla Express? Viking Experience was a beyond awful name.

WWE pulled Taker and Angle from Starrcast
Thompson pitched an idea where either Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, or Paul Levesque would appear with all proceeds being donated to Connor’s Cure and matched by Thompson. They turned it down.
His next attempt was to name Shawn Michaels as the replacement for Undertaker after he was told that main roster talent would not be available.

Its petty, especially doing it to someone like Taker. He signed the contract; I’m sure he knew that it would happen. Conrad is affiliated with AEW; he’s part of the competition now.

But Starrcast isn't affiliated with AEW.

But Starrcast isn't affiliated with AEW. Quite a coincidence that both Starrcasts have occurred in the same city and the same weekend of All In and Double or Nothing

You make it a destination.
All the shows ran on Mania weekend were taking advantage of the crowd that was going to be there for Mania. Starrcast is doing the same thing for those there for Double or Nothing.
It's not AEW Presents: Starrcast. Sure AEW talent are doing it, but it's as a working agreement with Conrad.

Some sites saying Charlotte & Almas are engaged.
She's 33 and this will be her 3rd marriage.
Looks like the title run isn't the only record of her father's she's trying to break. WOOOO!!

WWE not granting Luke Harper his release and will add 6 months to his contract due to the time he was off for wrist surgery.
Goldust presumably was granted his release (despite being out with double knee surgery) due to not going public with his request & denying he was leaving, thus putting WWE in a better light.
Seriously, they're going to keep Harper until just before NEXT YEARS WrestleMania just to prove a point. While he shouldn't have gone public until he was actually given his release, its petty as fuck from WWE to essentially hold people hostage (the adding on time is what I have the biggest problem with) who want to leave.

Vince is a delusional old fuck. It's the talents fault for declining ratings & lack of storylines. Seriously fuck him.
On Thursday's Q1 call for investors, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon pointed to 15 top and mid-card talents being out as the reason for declining numbers.
"When you don't have talent, you don't have storylines. When you don't have storylines, you're not going to do that well in terms of live events and television ratings. It was like a cascade of things that happened," he said.
McMahon followed that up by saying that all those talents were back and that they "made new talent." He was optimistic for the future, citing new additions to the writing team and a new live events team that is now in place.

What the fuck is wrong with these people lately? I feel like they’ve been acting more like assholes by the minute. Only thing I can tell you is company’s tend to be much more firm about talent going to “competition.” My guess is Harper has a no compete clause and they are going to try to keep him from competing as long as possible (even though it won’t affect their business in anyway).

He's doing something right. He's getting billion dollar TV deals. Getting business deals and running a good product are two different things. Clearly his team of Barrios and Michelle CantRememberHerLastName have done an outstanding job of pushing the business forward. Additionally, I guarantee they use the Rock as an example (and Cena even) of talent that makes it out of the WWE and you want to be a part of it. You can have a shit product and make mega deals. It happens every day.
