I watched the Darby/Brody match and I just don't enjoy seeing Darby get mauled and take stupid bumps. Not my thing. Crowd was dead for most of it too. I also don't like this whole CC setup, not everything has to be a tournament. That match with Darby and Brody told a story and Brody protecting Darby from Claudio was good, just have that and not manufacture a 6 week tournament that people like me with short attention spans don't want to keep track of.

As far as the Kamille stuff, wasn't necessarily a great run but I had no idea who she was before she showed up. I still don't honestly. But in those questionable 4 months, they kind made her at least "somebody" after tonight. The crowd popped. After a four month run, albeit kinda sloppy, to kinda make somebody isn't bad.
I'd put her and Stat in a tag team and have them run with the titles for a good 6 months/year. There's enough ladies and talent on the roster to have women's tag champs. If you can have men's, you can certainly have women's.

Or I suppose you could look at it like AEW took a chance on Kamille, she sucked, and they cut their losses after 4 months. Either way, good or bad, it didn't really do any damage.

If they’re planning on having Kamille vs Mercedes, she’s done nothing to earn a title shot. The story has been she’s looked like a good the last month and now she’s leaving Mercedes
So is this all a ruse? If so, who are they tricking and what for? Mercedes beat Stat, so it’s not like she’d need revenge for anything.
Why would Stat want to take Kamille under her wing when Kamille tried to run her over with her car like 3 weeks ago? Unless they spin it like she never truly wanted to? It’d make both Stat and Kamille look like dweebs as a result.
I just don’t see the end game to this whole thing, which has been a pretty big whiff for Kamille.

I enjoyed the hell out of the CC matches.
Darby getting trucked by Brody made me happy.
Ricochet still does nothing for me, but he and Claudio had a solid match.
Shelton looking like a million bucks was nice too.
I hate the stupid thing about "nobody at ringside and no interference" though. I mean, shouldn't that always be the rules?
