Vince's self-awareness has always been questionable but sheesh...he has become a parody of himself. Nonetheless, I'm sure Bruce Prichard agrees with this decision wholeheartedly.

They need to shut down. Both WWE and AEW. It's too risky and you don't want that kind of liability.

First, can they force a talent to sign a waiver? I'd think not, but they're not employees. So maybe they can? Also, I'd think everyone is tested before they enter the facility. But you can't build stories. I'm torn. Hear me out here. I don't want people doing this is real life. I hate Vince's balls being demonstrated in the President who's only been making this worse. But I kind of respect him finding ways to keep the show going. I said it. What I hate is that requires wrestlers and other personnel to make questionable decisions which can impact themselves and their family. Like I said, torn.

My thing is why does being live mean anything of importance when there's no fucking fans in buildings? You're just being a twat to your employees, making them fly multiple times a week when they don't have to.
Tape in bulk. Go full 1992 TV Tapings and marathon tape the shit out of RAW one day, SD the next, NXT and 205 Live the next. Then your talent, crew, everyone is home with their families literally for a month+.

No need for sports to be over.
Play in front of no fans.

If there's a virus going around WWE, no doubt in my mind it started with Mandy Rose.

Vince is the hero we need. And the hero we deserve. Hero. "We believe it is now more important than ever to provide people with a diversion from these hard times. We are producing content on a closed set with only essential personnel in attendance following appropriate guidelines while taking additional precautions to ensure the health and wellness of our performers and staff. As a brand that has been woven into the fabric of society, WWE and its Superstars bring families together and deliver a sense of hope, determination and perseverance."

Peeps, I can't tell if you're being facetious or not. Only a little. We need someone to be the first to go on and have events. Getting COVID-19 isn't a death sentence. It doesn't even necessarily mean you'll get sick and show symptoms.

It doesn't even necessarily mean you'll get sick and show symptoms. Maybe not for that individual but it could be for another person they come in contact with. Playing with no fans is still irresponsible because you are putting the "essential" workers at risk still. All the cameramen, reporters, officials, etc. It just isn't worth it. I place the value of someone's life above my need for sports/entertainment.

I hear what you are saying, but until there is a rapid test available for EVERYONE (not just athletes and stars) then it is still a gigantic risk. The fact that our testing overall is still so far behind other countries is embarrassing and we can't move forward with a solid strategy until we have that. It is all a guessing game until then and the safest course of action is unfortunately to keep things shut down.

Why is everyone awake being cunty but not watching old wrestling shows? I wish I had seen this last night. Because I would've said "That's also called a Keeping Score." But I missed my chance. Oh well.
