Miz is reading "twas the night before TLC" on the Dirt Sheet (opening segment). I tried. I'm done It's 7:06. RAW rating: 1.52 million Lowest RAW in HISTORY At least they had you for 6 minutes Woodridge, haha

Can't speak for anyone else, but I have four main reasons for no longer watching WWE:
- Not one single likable character on TV, heel or face
- The shaky camera zooming. I turned to last week's Smackdown briefly as Kevin Owens was being attacked by an Uso. I was immediately made to feel dizzy by the ever-moving, ever-shifting, ever-zooming camera. Either it's gotten worse, or I just haven't watched in a long time and am no longer immune to the effects.
- Scripted promos that take me out of the moment because mostly everyone there (including the backstage interviewers) are such horrible actors with such minimal believability.
- Awful commentary from everyone who picks up a headset. Every single one of them sounds like a pre-programmed soundboard of Vince-isms.
All of those things = I just can no longer watch wrestling on TV the way WWE presents it.

I saw Drebin say the segment wasn't that bad, so I thought about going back to finish it. Nope. The segment made me ask why I was even watching Raw and I stuck with it. Seems MANY did as well. SAD.

I haven't watched a second of WWE programming in 2020. (Other than that Youtube clip I found that Kid and others were only supposed to watch for 10 seconds but Kid decided to watch the whole damn thing!)
Still get a chuckle out of that one.

Looks like Undertaker is coming back. I would love to see them go to back to two hours and do a pre-game/Sunday Night Heat-ish hour from 7-8pm. Either that or eliminate the brands to allow everyone to appear on both shows.

Remember back in late 2018 when the McMahons all got in the ring and begged people not to stop watching Raw, and then promised it would get better?
It's been an amazing two years since.

Either that or eliminate the brands to allow everyone to appear on both shows. I'm all for killing the brand extension. We've talked about it before...they don't have enough talent to support two separate shows anymore. Nor is there any need for brand separation anymore. Those days are over. This isn't 2002 when there was literally no competition in the marketplace.

I disagree. Both AEW and WWE now have the talent to do true, dedicated brand splits. The dedicated thing is the hard part.

The only reason I see it still existing is to prevent the networks from complaining about not getting enough appearances from a superstar (i.e. Roman appearing on SD more than Raw). The "competition" between the two brands is fake and boring; eliminating the brands constantly provides fresh opponents for each wrestler. Any thoughts on the WWE imitating MLB and having wrestlers returning from injury spend some time in NXT to "knock off the ring rust?" I'm talking returning from major injuries like from a neck, knee, or shoulder; gives NXT a little charge in a new storyline and hints at future matches.

No more meddling to create an absolute rivalry between writing staffs and performers; perhaps create bonuses or incentives to reward those who had the best rating averages for the month.

2 years later, it's at 1.5 million
If that's not a wake up call, I don't know what is. And you can blame the pandemic all you want, but people are (supposed to be) staying home more, so you'd assume more eyes on televisions. It's your own fucking fault for not getting those eyes on YOUR product.

It would allow guys to get some wins on TV without having to feed established wrestlers to them. It would also allow some of the younger NXT talents to get a rub from working on TV with top WWE guys.

Let's look at this from a corporate strategy level. The TV deals are up in 2024. They will start negotiating those deals in Fall 2022. It takes at least six months to really get something hot. If they're rolling out these numbers, it's going to be ugly.

They burned a guy to a crisp and the follow up show drew 1.69 million. Actually shocked it went up almost 200,000 from last week.
Legends Night is the first RAW of the new year. Already going back to that well.

I actually tuned in for the first time in I don't know how long to see what they'd do. He worked there for like 8 years almost up to last year even and I was hoping for more than a graphic. I know he worked for the competition but a small video or something. They could do it later who knows, but I'm not sticking around.
I heard Tom & Drew do the line and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and I was happy they at least did that.

The graphic was fine for them to do.
Nothing really else to expect.

So Alexa gave herself a gasoline shower and dared Randy to light her on fire. Calling him a little bitch for not doing it. (thanks Twitter!)
Orton should've looked at the camera and said "stay tuned for an all new Burn Notice" before dropping the matches.
Yes, I know that show has been off the air for years, but this company is ran by a senile old man, he doesn't know that.
