Another episode I didn't really think I'd care that much about that delivered.

I dug this episode so much more than Bruce's ep of the podcast.

I understand Jim Cornette a little more too. If I ever shit on Cornette, it's because I hate him being the Trump of Wrestling now despite hating Trump. But I still get him and respect his place in the industry.

On the post show, of course Russo is recording in front of a wall devoted to him.

I wouldn't go out in the morning to get garbage cans with the same hair as the After host.

I wouldn't go out in the morning to get garbage cans with the same hair as the After host. I know you aren't a fan of Gethard but do yourself a favor and go watch his Chris Gethard Show Dumpster episode of his TV Show on YouTube. It's one of the funniest & most compelling episodes of TV you'll ever see. Entire episode is callers calling up and guessing what's in this giant dumpster on stage. Paul Scheer & Jason Mantzoukas from The League are his guest hosts, hell bent on making Gethard's life miserable by derailing the show at every chance they get. YouTube it. Seriously. Then the episode after that Chris, Colt Cabana, Sean Waltman & Rhyno wrestle his nemesis Vacation Jason, Pineapple & Coconut (Curt Hawkins & Pat Buck) and Jon Hamm (yes, that Jon Hamm)

This surprises me. I wonder if people are avoiding depressing shit? Because I would have thought the subject and the growing buzz would have been higher.

It's one of the best pay offs ever in a TV show. I was so happy I didn't know any spoilers before seeing it.

I didn't really think it was all that informative. Then again if the case is still open all these years later, then I don't know what I was expecting.
Maybe for people who had zero clue about Bravo's cigarette smuggling post WWF. I know it wasn't the subject, but they covered his WWF run in 30 seconds.
Still a horrible tragedy that I didn't know happened until years later reading PWI.

Still a horrible tragedy that I didn't know happened until years later reading PWI. Yeah, this one fell flat for me. I think expectations are getting too high. A few things of note for me. Vic Cotroni was Bravo's shoot Godfather. Like, when you're born Godfather. But also THE Godfather of Montreal. I could be wrong, but me thinks Bravo didn't suddenly get involved in the life in 1992 because he wasn't getting a WWF paycheck. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vincenzo_CotroniAlso, Gino Brito was arrested for extortion in 1992. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gino_Brito I'm not saying they had to ask him about it during the interview. But pro wrestling and organized crime went well together back in the day without those kind of connections. I'll be honest, it would be tough for me as a producer to fly into Montreal and start asking about OC. As you stated, it's also an "open" investigation. But there's way more here.

Jaques Rougeau with the profound statement of the show:
"11 bullets to the body. 7 bullets to the head. Not a good way to go."

Give me eighteen quick shots compared to cancer. I listened to the podcast about the Bravo show. Maybe I'm hearing what I want to, but it definitely seemed like they again glossed over how deep his ties to the mafia may have been.

Didn't Fuji fill Schultz in on the whole Stossel thing before he interviewed him? I could be thinking of something else, but sworn I heard that somewhere before.
This was the first episode of this where I didn't feel bad for anyone in it.
You have to be real assholes if Jim Cornette is the most likable guy on your episode.

I thought this was the most fascinating episode yet because I knew nothing about the backstory of the UWF and Abrams.
Excellent episode.

I thought this was the most fascinating episode yet because I knew nothing about the backstory of the UWF and Abrams. Excellent episode. Exactly. I knew about the craziness which peaked my interest. But this was one wrestling deal post-1980 I didn't know much about. I'm not sure they really dug in much. The money came from "Wall Street" and he had two bank accounts. OK, cool. I gave a pass on the Dino Bravo episode because I wouldn't want to disappear either. But I think we understood Herb did a ton of coke and hookers. Maybe dive in a little bit. If you'll pardon the expression.
