Nope, still not back. The boys are talking about what's your Bears fantasy for tonight. At least they were for the 3 minutes I heard it. 20 minutes away from Bill Michaels saving me from this.

Well it doesn't sound like a contract issue with Mac. He's on a personal leave of absence and Spiegel seemed to zero in on his depression issues and the like.
Hope you're feeling better, Mac!

That is indeed unfortunate.
Wishing for the best for Mac.

Who is Bill Michaels and on what station does he broadcast from? He is on WSSP 1250 in Milwaukee. You do not want to listen to him. It will not be good for you.

Here's more on Danny Mac from the Tribune:
Tribune report 10:16 a.m. CST, November 4, 2013
WSCR-AM 670 host Matt Spiegel confirmed to his audience Monday that partner Dan McNeil is taking a break from the station to deal with personal issues. Media reporter Ed Sherman posted a transcript of Spiegel’s comments to his site at shermanreport.com: “For me personally, I love that complicated and troubled man. If you heard the show, and the way we’ve talked about mental illness and depression, you know our level of sympathy and empathy is sometimes different than others. … I would personally ask that you think of him with kindness.”
Station program director Mitch Rosen confirmed the situation, echoing Spiegel’s on-air comments: “Dan McNeil is on a personal leave of absence. He appreciates all the people who have reached out and he hopes to be back on the air soon.”
McNeil has been absent from his show for a few weeks. Through his agent, he has declined to speak publicly.
This is not the first instance in McNeil’s career of being off the air because of personal issues. Each time, however, he has managed to reconnect with his audience. It remains to be seen if he can do it again.
"I was born with something that I have no control over," McNeil said last year when struggling with addiction. "And I have fought that for a good portion of my life. It is not the type of disease that garners much sympathy, but I am not interested in sympathy."
McNeil is also a special contributor to the Tribune's Chicago Sports section.
