Solid picks by Kid and Drop In. I didn't even have them on my list and now I feel stupid. Woodridge trying to entice my 3rd overall pick - pfffft. He has it made where he is!

Steve/William Regal I'm gonna allow this because he did wrestle 16 times BUT in a draft of Greatest Wrestlers of All-Time, I do have to say that this is a TERRIBLE pick. (Though he was a bump machine)

Heenan makes sense in a territory draft. Not so much in a Greatest Wrestlers draft.
I think many are treating this like a territory draft so it makes sense in that way.

Agree to disagree with the territory assessment of Heenan. I am treating this as the best in the business of all time and Heenan absolutely qualifies as a wrestler, he just so happens to be the best manager and announcer of all time also.

I still honestly don't understand the difference between a draft like this and a territory draft.

Yeah I don't either. I'm drafting people who I think are the greatest of all time. The territory draft I'm probably going to draft close to the same roster (or at least try to).

I am too, but greatest wrestler is greatest wrestler. Bobby Heenan and Gorgeous George aren't the greatest wrestlers in anyone's mind. But Heenan makes sense when thinking about making a territory.

Would people be opposed to just expanding this draft instead of doing a whole other one?
I know 20 picks is a lot, but imagine the difficulty if we went to 30 or 40 per roster. Someone will be drafting Mongo McMichael eventually, haha. I think it’d be funnier & tougher.
Just so you know I’m fine with two drafts, just spitballing.
I certainly understand if people are drafting different ways here as opposed to another. So I can only speak for myself in how I’m drafting and it’s essentially the same exact way I’d do a whole other one.

I am looking at this the same way as Random. If we were to do this over I would try to pick the same roster. I love what I'm building here and it isn't territory based but I am approaching it as the best wrestlers I would use to start a promotion. These are all the best wrestlers ever in my mind. Maybe if we get to pick 30 they won't be but for the next 4 or 5 they certainly are.

There's several things that will make the territory draft very different. Like the inclusion of managers, announcers, refs, authority figure etc.....
The other thing is when to pull the trigger on certain requirements. Like yes, Stone Cold, Flair, Taker etc.... will all probably go first around again. But how high up will you pick a guy like Heenan? And in Heenan's case, are you taking him as a wrestler, manager or announcer? How high up do you take Vince McMahon to fulfill the CEO/President/Authority figure requirement?
Also, in this draft we've picked no women yet. I would think if you valued your women's roster in the territory draft, then several women will be off the board by the time that draft reaches the round that this draft is currently in.

Another thing that'll be wildly different I'm guessing, is the current crop of young wrestlers. Like MJF for example. Or Darby or Austin Theory, rhea Ripley etc..
None of them will be in this draft but I bet they'll appear in the territory draft.
