Yeah, for him, I get it. He'd make some good $$$ in AEW for sure, but he still is an upper level guy in WWE (despite losing a lot and probably never getting a title run again). He also sells a lot of merch still in WWE.
The schedule would probably be much easier in AEW, but if he wants to stay in WWE, as much as I'd love him with Mount Rushmore, I'm happy for him he's getting paid.
He's a different case than a Gargano or Kyle, who don't stand a fucking chance on the main roster unfortunately. They need to bail.

I've only read the headlines, but this makes sense. AEW has too much talent and plenty available. WWE has seven contracted workers and will be sold in the next two years. Get a big fucking bus, a giant stack of monies, more contracted time to spend with family, and you might still be with AEW within the next two years.
I love Owens, but he's not getting AEW two million viewers on Wednesday. It will be another inside buddy story we love, but they have a couple of those for the next year. I'm surprised it went this way, but kind of glad it did in a weird way.

I'm fine with this. Kevin Owens is talented but I'm fairly indifferent towards him overall.
Frankly AEW should have no vacancies at this point. In my opinion they have enough talent, homegrown and outsourced, to proceed for the next couple of years.

Yeah they’re going to have to start cutting people eventually. But there’s just a few more guys I’d add like Kyle. That’s a no brainer. It’s almost like you can’t have Fish without O’Reilly. I’m a fan of Bobby Fish, but his stock rises being around Cole & Kyle.
But I’m not sure how different Owens would’ve been in AEW than he is in WWE already? He’s already a great promo, obnoxious, funny, etc. Maybe he could break out the Steenalizer in AEW instead of a Stunner? But it’s not like “the handcuffs are finally off!” if Owens becomes Steen again.

Developing this as I type. Hear me out. I don't want to go back to the past, so the examples are only comps. What if Stone Cold created a DX type faction of young guys? Not the childish humor, although that would have a place. But more a group of young guys that Stone Cold is teaching how to take from WWE. All the while teaching them to "not trust anybody" including him. If done properly it could build new stars and have one of the most entertaining people in general on TV every week.

I dig it because it’s new despite using a legend. But it’s using a legend in a way they don’t ever do (bring in one shot, get punted by Randy Orton and leave).
It’s Vince, so Austin as another fucking ref or there to stun a person to get one “Mania moment” instead of building something potentially past Mania and into the new “season” is sadly what I think we’ll get.
But I’d certainly tune in again to the product if your idea happened.

Rollins tweeted after the Bears game (as he usually does)…
If they lose those 4 a week before their PPV, they’re screwed.

That sentiment was quite prevalent in 2020. I mean it's funny, but its kind of true. If people aren't feeling sick, don't make someone take a test. That will cut down on 30-40% of the new positive cases. At some point you do have to just say YOLO and move on. I can also see why someone like Reigns would not be happy with this. |

Scarlett & Kross were on Renee’s podcast. Scarlett said the reason she wasn’t brought up with Kross was she had a few dark matches and popped one of her implants after a match and didn’t realize it. The next day she looked in the mirror and her boob was essentially gone. They kept her off TV because they wanted her as a wrestler and not a manager. She was just at home the last 4 months of her contract.
