Rumors of Malakai bowing to the crowd and waving bye. Can Kid confirm? He absolutely did. I don't know what that meant.

Couple questions on this. What was the story for the match for Punk/Mox? Did the injured foot come into play at all? Did Ace get involved? And then this media thing - what question was asked that set that off?

I mean it was basically a Jim Cornette rant about AEW.
Part of me wonders if he wasn't working to start his Bret Hart heel turn. But Punk is an emotional mess sometimes, too, so it could all be just real venting too.

I don't think a lot of folks are seeing Punk's perspective. Guy comes back after seven years to try to do something for the fans, and you got these asswipes backstage saying, "No, fuck the fans...we don't want you here." I'm sure Punk's questioning if it was even worth it.

According to Meltzer, the running security guard was because of an "altercation" between Punk and the Bucks.

Punk is Bret. The Elite are Shawn. Tony is Vince. And Hangman is a fucking moron.

Really interested to see what happens as a result. Does AEW continue being All Friends Wrestling where everyone likes each other, or does it evolve into a grown up company?
Fascinating.

Looking back, the build to MJF last night was delightful. Stokely handing out the cards for months. The ladder match. The Rolling Stones. The end of the show. So good.

When the main masked guy came into the ring and teased taking off the mask, we all knew who it was. Great moment and great payoff.

Jericho said it last night in the scrum and I agree. MJF is gonna be the biggest babyface in the company within 6 months.

Judging by the pop last night, he may already be. Those CM Punk chants became MJF chants quickly.

I'm still kinda pissed about how the Starks/Hobbs match went. Starks cut this impassioned babyface promo on Dynamite, and the match was a glorified squash. I mean Starks got next to no offense in. I'm okay with Hobbs winning, but Starks got nothing. Very disappointing.
That being said, give me Wardlow vs. Hobbs ASAP.

There were too many weird finishes last night for it to be a great show. Hobbs-Starks, Jericho-Danielson, tag match, Christian-Jungle Boy (though that was obviously due to injury).

I guess Punk threw punches at the Bucks last night.
So things are gonna have to come to a head sooner rather than later.

Starks has been getting beat down by QT's group for weeks now if I'm not mistaken. Maybe that was a bit of the story last night (that he was just too beat up and not full strength) but who knows.

That's a problem too. Having your new babyface get housed by Elevation heels isn't good.

That makes sense, but they should have included a video package or something to explain that. I had no idea he was coming in at less than 100% storyline wise.

I guess Punk threw punches at the Bucks last night. So things are gonna have to come to a head sooner rather than later. The Bucks are just angry they now have to share their toy (AEW) with bigger names. I find it strange that Cole, Punk, and Bryan all came in around the same time, but Punk is the only one that guys are revolting against. Did Punk even share a locker room with the Bucks or Omega before 2021? Where's the animosity coming from? Has Punk done anything in the past year to piss people off, or is this just based on Punk's reputation coming in?

It's all very strange. Having it all stem from a throw away line Hangman said in a promo too. Punk cutting a full promo on Page & punking him out (no pun intended) randomly on Dynamite to make him look like a bitch was shitty behavior too. Lot of people in the wrong here. Apparently Nick Jackson leaking stuff to media about how Cabana got fired because of Punk, also shitty behavior.
All of them need to grow the fuck up and get their egos in check. Punk wants to be champion, then act like it and stop shitting on talent. The Bucks want to be treated with respect as EVPs, stop leaking shit and start addressing the issue with the talent backstage. Hangman probably shouldn't have said the line to begin with, but I don't think it should've resulted in all this.
Tony needs to realize he can't make everyone happy and also can't be a nodding awkwardly guy either, he needs to take charge. If he doesn't think Punk & The Bucks/Hangman can co-exist, then he has a serious issue on his hand. If Punk threw punches, he needs to be suspended or reprimanded. That's ridiculous. Only people you hear praise Punk are FTR & Danhausen most of the time, if Punk is going to have these outbursts (some warranted, I can only imagine how annoying it is for him to constantly be asked about the Cabana situation) you have to question, is he worth the hassle? On the other hand, if more people start having issues with The Bucks and stuff they may or may not be leaking to press, then are they themselves worth it?
As for the Cabana stuff, like I said before, WWE won and it sucks. However, neither of them need to talk about this issue anymore, it's done, it's over.

THIS. This amazing moment got completely lost in the shuffle of champions chomping muffins and having pissy fits, while EVPs are having their own pissy fits threatening to walk out.
This moment was perfect and I'm glad Dax & his girl got to have it.

Many of these matches tonight felt like builds to bigger matches stemming from tonight, which would be fine, but this is All Out, arguably your Wrestlemania of shows. Aside from Christian being hurt and understandably not wrestling, I have zero idea why so many matches went as short as they did. They didn't need 11 main PPV matches to begin with.
Jade & Athena felt like a Rampage match Starks & Hobbs felt like it was built around Starks being hurt in storyline, so we're building to a rematch Jericho & Danielson aren't done Christian seems to be pivoting to Luchasaurus vs. Jungle Boy, which I understand Acclaimed will probably get a rematch
Some of these matches didn't need to be on the PPV, but when you have so much talent on your roster and try to fit everyone on the show (if not, you're going to have bruised egos go to social media and complain), you run into this problem.
I liked the show, got caught up on everything this morning, very good PPV in my opinion, but certainly not an All Out caliber show.

Lost in the scrum last night as well was Toni Storm saying Rosa "says she's injured. When she says she's not injured anymore we can wrestle and I can beat her and that will be that."
Nobody likes each other in this company. Haha.

A number of matches had to be cut short during Sunday's AEW All Out 2022 pay-per-view due to time constraints.
The PPV including the pre-show had a whopping 15 matches and was headlined by CM Punk defeating Jon Moxley to become a two-time AEW World Champion. Fightful reports that the AEW TBS Championship match between Jade Cargill and Athena was cut short, as was the Ricky Starks Vs. Powerhouse Hobbs match.
“The Powerhouse Hobbs vs. Ricky Starks and Jade Cargill vs. Athena matches were both on the shorter side. Reports are that the matches had more time budgeted to them initially.”
Cargill retained the AEW TBS Championship in 4:20, while Hobbs defeated Starks in 5:05.
