Figure this is the best place for this. Who you got getting past Group stage?
My picks:
Group A
Netherlands
Senegal
This pod blows. Its definitely Netherlands but the rest is a crapshoot. And being in Qatar and all the shadiness already happening I could see Qatar getting out of group stage in a very sus manner.
Group B
England
USA
OK pod but even this less than great US team should be able to advance past Wales and Iran.
Group C
Argentina
Mexico
Really tough pod as Poland is decent too and has some good players that could pull an upset. Argentina is probably 2nd or 3rd best overall team in the tourney though and should handle their business accordingly. Mexico is good but a lot will depend on the health of Raul Jimenez.
Group D
France
Denmark
Thanks for participating Tunisia and Australia!
Group E
Spain
Germany
I could see Japan throwing a surprise draw or win in here though.
Group F
Belgium
Croatia
Probably the weakest pod. Belgium should breeze through
Group G
Brazil
Serbia
This is a tough pod too as Switzerland isn't a bad squad but I think Mitrovic if healthy leads Serbia through to next round. Brazil is best team in the tourney and should get through
Group H
Portugal
Uruguay
This isn't a great pod and Portugal should walk through. There could be an upset if Korea gets hot and Uruguay shits themselves but I don't think that will happen.
