That show actually looked pretty damn solid. I understand why people don't like MANY things WWE does in general. But they've figured out a formula for big shows. Combine that with a passionate crowd in a fresh setting and it was a really enjoyable show. Also, I think my initial dumb reaction for weeks was "what's a Bad Bunny" when he got involved. To see people still holding onto that is everything wrong with segments of wrestling fandom. Dude is a huge fan, is working to grow the business, gives a huge fuck about his performance, and is arguably the biggest star on the planet right now. Am I cruising around listening to Bad Bunny now? Nah. But not everything is for me. |

That show actually looked pretty damn solid. I understand why people don't like MANY things WWE does in general. But they've figured out a formula for big shows. I don’t know who trains these guys at WWE but McAfee, Bunny and Logan Paul have all been outstanding. I absolutely shit on bad bunny at the beginning because I’m 43 years old. But dude won me over just like that Logan Paul jackass. They’re taking it seriously and are legitimately pretty good at it. |

I think a reason the formula has worked with celebs like Paul, Pat & Bunny is that they aren’t overexposed. We get a couple matches a year tops out of them. Thus it gives them an incredible amount of time to train and go over the match at the Performance Center with presumably Shawn Michaels of all people helping them plan it out.
