So I was home sick yesterday and this was available to watch On Demand so I decided to watch it. (Stayed away from comedies as I didn't want to laugh and start coughing). This movie had so much potential and they just botched it every way possible. I really wanted to like it but they rushed the entire plot and made one of the supposed hero characters (the male main archaelogist guy) so unlikeable for no reason. And the whole "engineer" thing, why did they want to destroy their creations and did they also make the Aliens? It seems like it but it was never clear. And how did one engineer survive when the rest were overrun? And how did David know about this and able to implant unlikable archaelogist with one of the aliens? Could have been an awesome movie and they blew it. Like Vince Russo wrote it. Swerve - old man financier is really alive... AND ON THE SHIP!!!! SWERVE!!!

I thought I was the only person completely disappointed in this movie. It was the 2nd feature at the drive-in, so I stayed to give it a shot after whatever movie I actually wanted to see. It was hard to sit through and I kept trying to get into it, but every turn just made it worse. You'd think it had a chance to finally get better and they'd blow it. I left 5 min before it ended. Didn't give it a 2nd thought and don't care how it ended.

Your Season of the Witch updates were Money!!! My halloween feels complete now....even before it has officially started. dude! it's like halloween doesn't exist on cable anymore...i'm fine with not having it. actually on FB i've been doing my own 31 days of halloween. i'll find a full movie on youtube and post it on my status, then watch it throughout the day/evening when i have time. it's been a fun challenge, and i've caught up on some films i haven't watched in a long time. it's been really nice. |
