That was a good read. Original AEW really did feel special, because they were the new guys. They didn't do everything right, and some of their mistakes were due to inexperience, but they were challenging the established brand and making a place for "other guys" to succeed.
A lot of the problems I have had with AEW over the last 18 months or so is they started trying to be too much like that WWE from 2019. They've gotten away from it lately and it has helped their product I think.

Part of me wants MJF to drop the title and Joe have a run before Swerve wins it. But if that happens, this Devil thing will be pointless, as it really seems to be Cole wanting to get the title from MJF. But who knows when Cole will be cleared?
I do think Max needs some time off though and having him laid out to end the show at the feet of The Devil and company would be better than Max retaining the title in another PPV main event, hurt going in.
I loved the match with Switchblade, but you have to admit, Jay losing to Max, who was hobbled at the start of the match, took a little away from Switch. I don't want that to happen to Joe.
There's many ways they could go. I just truly hope they don't get too cute and try to make The Devil someone other than Cole/Britt/crew

Statlander vs Willow added to Zero Hour
I thought FTR vs Malakai & Buddy was on this show (I even posted it in my Dynamite recap) but apparently not. FTR challenged them and they nodded. We’ve had matches happen where less happened. So I assumed wrong I guess.
Which is fine, save it for Collision or something. This show has 12 matches now.

Word on the mean streets of X is Andrade is on his way back to WWE soon.
I thought he signed a big deal a couple years ago and Tony wasn't letting him out of it. Wasn't that why he punched Sammy? Though maybe Tony is fine getting rid of guys who don't want to be there.

It’s a way to keep Swerve on the show and Dustin is Lee’s partner (at least they’ve teamed a few times).
Lee’s run has been very underwhelming but I think health has played a big factor. It’s important to get that under control more than anything else. Better to get healed up than to rush it back.
