I forgot how douchechilling Stephanie leading the “Thank You Vince” chants after he intitially “retired”.
Then he came back and Steph resigned.
Bruce: I don’t know what happened between Vince & Stephanie and Dave Meltzer, Shoemaker, their lies, they don’t know either. (10 seconds later) Selling WWE to TKO was genius!

Producer: What did you think of the episodes you’ve seen?
Bruce: It sucked! I thought this was a gotcha piece and all about how to make Vince look bad. You’re missing the human side. This was about how Vince is made to be an asshole, which he’s not

I posted this in the other thread when I first started.
“I have to keep reminding myself this isn’t made for die hard wrestling fans. For people who don’t know Vince, this will cater to them more I think.”
That held true throughout the whole thing, until the last 30 minutes. Then people will hopefully realize the true scum bum Vince is.
It’s over, it was whatever. It was not a hit job like Brother Love would have you believe.

Good on Bischoff and Meltzer for calling Vince on his shit complaining about Ted Turner.
The interviewer called him on it too.
Nicely done.

Also Stone Cold saying he doesn’t believe in CTE was an interesting stance to take.
And by interesting, I mean fucking dumb.

Stephanie not knowing that Tyson had been arrested and been in jail for rape when he came in to WWE.
Brilliant.

Hogan didn’t know if the near immobile Andre was going to allow him to win the Mania match until the 3 count. Also he didn’t know they were going to do the bodyslam spot. Hulk be Hulkin in this doc Hulk: We brought in 93,000 Bruce: 93,000 Vince: We held the record, 93,000 Dave: Yeah, it was 78,000 Haha Meltz be Meltzin Tickets out? or Turnstile. My guess is Bruce and co use the tickets out number and Dave uses the turnstile number. I do not trust your uncle at all to be unbiased and remain consistent about this across all wrestling orgs.

I'm not sure what you are expecting here randomone. ALl of this stuff has been documented a million times. Some times there just aren't new stories to tell, just a different point of view on the journey.

I guess my suspicions were correct about this being a fluff piece. Easy pass for me. I’d recommend the first and last episode. Everything in the middle was essentially a WWE mid 2000s DVD doc on Vince, just with newer interviews.

But it is what it is.

My guess is Bruce and co use the tickets out number and Dave uses the turnstile number. I do not trust your uncle at all to be unbiased and remain consistent about this across all wrestling orgs. Thurston did a video about it and came to the conclusion it was probably around 84,000, as seating not including the floor seats was 78,000. Add in about 6,000 floor seats and it was closer to 84,000. So both Dave and everyone in WWE were wrong. Also all I said was Hulk be Hulkin and Meltz be Meltzin. I just thought the sequence was funny. I also don’t trust WWE to remain consistent either, (of course they want to inflate the number as much as possible) especially prior to this moment, they said Andre had never been slammed before and then they cut to footage of Hogan slamming him in the early 80s.
