Starting the Vince doc. They mention all these interviews were filmed before the Grant stuff came out. That took 30 seconds. I’m already thinking this will be essentially an extended Dark Side of the Ring.
I have to keep reminding myself this isn’t made for die hard wrestling fans. For people who don’t know Vince, this will cater to them more I think.
Ep 1 - Vince’s childhood and defying the odds taking over WWF from his dad and Wrestlemania
Big Dave looking jacked though! #companyman

Hogan didn’t know if the near immobile Andre was going to allow him to win the Mania match until the 3 count. Also he didn’t know they were going to do the bodyslam spot.
Hulk be Hulkin in this doc
Hulk: We brought in 93,000 Bruce: 93,000 Vince: We held the record, 93,000 Dave: Yeah, it was 78,000
Haha Meltz be Meltzin

Ep 2 - Steroid scandal, Mel Phillips/Terry Garvin/Pat scandal, Rita Chatterton (briefly), Snuka super quick and how essentially Vince side stepped everything
Quick footnote at the end saying Vince paid Chatterton in 2022, but denies allegations still
Yeah, this series isn’t what you’d hope, maybe if Netflix hadn’t inked a multi billion dollar deal with WWE prior to this, perhaps it’d be more in depth and not just glance over stuff and have Vince just get away with it. At least that’s what I feel after Ep 2.
Ep 3 - Screwjobs. After the Hogan Era, they need a New Generation. Gee, haven’t heard this before.

Episode 1 was fine. Nothing crazy. Other than Tony Atlas' outfit. A lot of early WWF and Vince never had his dad say he loved him until the day before he died.
Nice to see Meltzer cleaned up for the interview.

Episode 2 Hogan talks about passing the torch at Wrestlemania 6, then immediately show him kicking out right at 3.

Wish they wouldn’t have shown the shot of Owen on the stretcher. Also they actually kept the same fucking mat on the ring as the show continued?? I never knew that for some reason.
Vince said they kept the show going because fans there didn’t see really what happened. Umm, weren’t they the ONLY people who saw what happened?
After every episode it tells us how Vince & WWE settled any and every lawsuit.
Ep 5 starting now. The McMahon Family.

“I don’t remember much about the Sable lawsuit, it’s all just a blur. What I do remember is that she came back.”
Vince then reminded he had an affair with Sable, smirks…
