Best burger joint going around here by far. Best fries too. Especially if you get buffalo ranch for dipping. Five Guys can suck it.

Near Maria's there's a place that has awesome burgers. Pleasant House.
Unfortunately they only have the burgers on Tuesdays.

Strictly speaking from a fast food perspective. I mean Kuma's or Bad Apple or Au Cheval are still a league of their own in burger awesomeness

I don't like Smashburger's fries. I haven't had one in almost a year though so I don't have a fresh comparison of actual burgers. I will reassess next time I have one. For now, Meathead's still reigns supreme.

Always looking for new burgers. Thanks, ref. How are the fries? Best fries in the business for my money. They aren't those gigantic potato wedges - just smaller cut fries from whole potatoes and seasoned perfectly. |

Underwhelming. It was basically a shrug of the shoulders from the family after we ate there.. There are plenty of places to get good burgers around here and they aren't on the list. I've heard similar reviews from others around here. |

I've heard similar reviews from others around here. Agreed completely. You can do much better for the same price point. Had a friend get a chicken sandwich there (why you would go to a place called Smashburger to get chicken is it's own topic) and the chicken breast looked like it was about 3 oz of meat and still the $8.95 or whatever it was for the combo. I don't particularly like Portillo's burger, but I would even put it above Smashburger. |

agreed on smashburger and meatheads. fortunately a meatheads just opened up a stone's throw walking distance from me. the cajun style fries are awesome. smashburger to me is very average. and the fries are too thin.

I had Smashburger today. I enjoyed it. Their Oreo shake is the best around.
