R Pro is having their big second anniversary show at Amundsen High School Saturday November 23. JohngysBeat.com already has 14 people coming. If anyone else is going, introduce yourself to me at the show. I am not hard to find (although several of us will be wearing the big cartoon head shirt of mine).

Billy Corgan's Resistance Pro Wrestling Reality Series Picked Up by AMC

For an eight-episode first season...
- AMC has announced that they've ordered Billy Corgan's Resistance Pro-focused reality series to series for a first season of eight episodes. The hour-format series will look at the Smashing Pumpkins frontman as he works as the creative director of Resistance Pro, "from creating storylines to choreographing fights to managing intense post-match locker room arguments, revealing that the most dramatic stories often take place outside of the ring."
No word on exactly when the series will air, but expect it to be sometime in the fall/winter.

I think they'll be okay though as it's been around long enough where they have a decent name.
