I've been listening to Taylor all day and I'm trying to determine the rank of her songs. I like her initial country stuff better than the pop stuff now. I don't dislike the pop stuff. I just like the country music more. My prelim rankings go as such. Very fluid so by no means set in stone: 1. Tearsdrops on my guitar 2. Mean 3. Love Story 4. Red 5. Shake it off I've taken Red out of my top 5 and shifted Picture to Burn into the number 4 spot. I like the southern twang she sprinkles in and steel guitar in the song. |

Both songs have played. I think they're "too slow". I can't describe it accurately. They just don't "click" like Tear Drops does.

I don't know if the story is true, but apparently it's in the news that she broke up with her douchebag boyfriend because he got a happy ending at a massage parlor. Haha, just typing that made me laugh, regardless, he's a fucking idiot.
This should be great material for her next album. The hit single No More Happy Endings will make millions.

I have no shame in saying I'm a Swifty supporter. Her music are damn toe tappers & she's ridiculously attractive.
That said, I can't fucking stand Miranda Lambert. I don't like any of her music, don't like her voice & her face looks weird.

Ironically enough KS, I think what stems from me disliking her so much might be because I hate this song. She's talking pretty much through the entire thing. Granted I know most artists do that anyways, but it just annoys me more with this song. Or any song "sang" by Toby Keith, he's my least favorite.
I used to be really into country music as a kid (Brooks & Dunn, Garth Brooks, hell I'm talking Alabama & Diamond Rio, fuck yeah! haha), but just grew out of it. Now the only country I listen to is Johnny Cash, who I've loved for nearly my whole life.
Sadly the only concerts our arena puts on are overpriced 80s rock bands or country music.

I guess also at the time that I had pretty much thrown in the towel and decided that if Miranda is gonna win every damn award at every damn show, then surely I must be missing something and finally gave in. Only that one time though. The song from her that drove me nuts (in a bad way) was White Liar. Just awful. So anyways, I apologize for picking the very most song that you hate from her.   So here's a gift from me to you. This should more than make up for it. |
